After becoming embroiled in a spat with fellow I'm A Celebrity campmate Fred Sirieix over a comment he made about her late father, YouTube star Nella Rose has today opened up about the impact that his death had on her as a teen.
During Monday night's episode, social media favourite Nella opened up to the restaurateur about her parents' passing - with her dad having died in 2020, and her mum having passed away when she was just 19.
Later on, during dinner fellow I'm A Celeb star Fred, 51, seemingly innocently joked that he could be 'like her dad' when discussing their age gap - something which left Nella deeply upset following her loss.

During last night's show, 26-year-old Nella discussed her hurt feelings as she told the Bush Telegraph: "Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad.
"I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad’s passed away."
Despite Fred apologising for his comment, Nella insisted that the duo will 'not be friends'.

And during tonight's instalment, the social media star was seen telling ITV co-star, food critic Grace Dent about the bad habits she picked up whilst grieving her father.
"I used to have so much discipline but that was when I was in a bad space. Lack of self discipline got me from a size 12 to a size 20," she explained.
"Literally my dad passed, I locked myself in the house for two months, I drank every single day and ate every single day and I gained it all and it was pandemic."
"If Jamie [Lynn Spears] left yesterday I would have been right behind her… I’m leaving. I just don’t want to be the first."

Nella's mum Eseho Omolongo and dad Kamango Paul Hollela both died within four years of one another.
She previously opened up about the fact that her mother died in her arms back in 2019, and has never explained exactly how her father passed.
Nella had previously admitted she's already concerned she won't be able to handle three weeks in the jungle.

"I’ve never, ever in my life started something and finished it. Ever. I always quit, or I always sign on short term or if I don’t like it I can leave.
"This is the one thing I said I’m going to try and stick it through but I can already see myself... if I get in my head too much...".
Broadcaster Grace then asks her if she runs away 'the minute things start to pick up', which Nella admits she does.

"When I was younger I was put in a lot of situations that I had no control over," she explains.
"I was sad and miserable. So now that I have the control over my happiness and the things I want to do I think I’m kind of, I’ve become obsessed with it, 'Oh, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to'."
