It's finally happened: Kim Cattrall is back ladies and gentlemen.
The legendary actor made her long-awaited appearance on And Just Like That and fans said it didn't disappoint.
It was confirmed earlier this year that Samantha Jones would be returning to the Sex and the City universe in the way of a short cameo.

We were warned that it would short and sweet but it delivered on all fronts.
Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw is seen answering her phone and Jones comes on the screen in a blaze of glory.
She reveals she was going to fly from London to New York City to surprise her friend as she says goodbye to her apartment.

But Jones then explains that she couldn't get a flight and she would be missing the 'last supper' with Bradshaw, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).
While the news is disappointing, Carrie seems delighted that Samantha was prepared to do an overnight trip to NYC just to be there with the girls.
They have a bit of back and forth and then the phone call ends.
And that is Kim Cattrall's cameo all wrapped up.
Cattrall famously wasn't included in the first season of the reboot.

The characters remarked how she had moved to London after having a fallout with Carrie because she was fired as her publicist.
Apart from that brief mention, And Just Like That has focused on the remaining trio of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte.
An insider told the Mail Online before the first season of the reboot aired: "We have high hopes that by the time we begin filming the second season, Kim will have joined the show and Samantha Jones can make a triumphant return to the Big Apple."
They added: "We want Kim back. She was missed on set.

"We all understand why she feels the way she does. We get it. We just want her to come back for future seasons."
Some fans were hoping Cattrall's cameo in finale episode would tee up a bigger presence in the third season of And Just Like That, however it seems like Jones is staying in London for the foreseeable.
Variety noted 'Cattrall’s appearance as Samantha will not be a continuation of the character for now'.
Hopefully there is enough fan excitement that convinces Cattrall she's sorely missed on the show and she signs on for more episodes.
