Ever since the 2024 series of Married At First Sight landed on our screens last month, contestant Eve Reid has been one of the show's most controversial contestants.
Now - following last night's shock departure from the reality dating experiment - a body language expert has analysed the 31-year-old's behaviour, after several viewers branded her a 'gaslighter' for her treatment of wife Charlie Curtis.

The assessment follows weeks of confrontation between the formerly loved-up duo, who were paired up by the show's resident match-makers.
In recent days, we have seen the pair butt heads over letters that MAFS' love experts asked them to write to each other discussing their lives.
While Charlie was seen to be opening up about the effects of her parents' split - as well as her subsequent estrangement from her dad - Eve hadn't even bothered to write a letter, landing her immediately in viewers' bad books.
And earlier this week, it emerged that Eve had been talking about the arguments within her marriage to some of the fellow brides, leading co-star Polly to unfairly brand Charlie a 'bully' - a reference Eve would be pleased with, and which would later see Charlie break down in tears.

Last night's instalment saw the couple's relationship come to a fiery end, with the pair opting to leave the experiment altogether.
Now, a body language expert has taken a close look at Eve's behaviour throughout the show's most recent instalments, believing the pair have left the show far from amicably.
Speaking to Tyla on behalf of Spin Genie, professional interpreter Darren Stanton first of all touched on the moment that the former couple announced to the group that they wished to end their on-screen marriage.

"Eve is showing an expression of contempt, by using a bi-lateral smile on the left side of her face," he began. "There is also an element of sadness there, because the eyes are pulled together.
"There’s sadness shown through the expressions of the eyes and eyebrows. The chin thrust from Eve is interesting, as this shows there’s anger in there too.
"It’s a sign from people of arrogance, it’s a power gesture, and she is the confident one here.
"Later on, Eve then bows her head down, which does show some more sadness, but shows many of the same gestures as before."

Darren added, however, that its not just sadness that Eve is seemingly feeling following the conclusion of her time on the Channel 4 series.
"When Eve says ‘I wish you all the best’ to Charlie, she gives the most patronising fake smile," he continued. "It’s fantastic footage demonstrating those micro expressions at work."
Apparently, it's not just Eve that is harbouring mass negativity about the end of their romance.

"We see a similar chin thrust gesture from Charlie, as well as raised eyebrows, which shows some anger too," he went on.
"She’s not very happy with the outcome here - there’s a reciprocal chin thrust. I think this is why they argued so much as it’s like putting two alpha characters in a room and seeing what happens.
"You have two very strong-willed characters here."
Discussing their final on-screen interaction, Darren also told us of Eve's attitude towards her former flame: "We later see a bilateral shoulder shrug. If you watch it in real time, she says ‘I wish you all the best in your marriages’, and she lifts her right shoulder, that’s a deception.
"When we want to appear indifferent or we’re not quite sure, we’ll shrug our shoulders. However, when we’re trying to sell a lie unconsciously, our body doesn’t give a true answer, it will fabricate it, and it takes a second or so to kick in, so only one shoulder moves."
He continued: "When she wishes them well, she really isn’t - that is a lie. We see disgust too, the head is slightly down, the nose is crinkled, eyebrows are up, which shows disgust of the whole situation."
