Married At First Sight UK's Adam has issued an apology following last night's explosive final dinner party of the series.

Channel 4 viewers were treated to quite the blow-out last night (11 November) when the remaining couples; Sacha and Ross, Lacey and Nathan, Luke and Amy and Polly and Adam came together for their last dinner party.

It all kicked off between Polly and Adam before they even rocked up to the party, arguing over Polly's belief her hubby wasn't making enough of an effort.

She also brought up Adam's lack of PDA - which has been an ongoing issue - after she discovered he had allegedly been 'flirty' with Amy which he dismissed as 'banter'.

After quite a lot of back and fourth, the fight came to a peak when Adam hit out at his wife for 'begging' for the relationship prompting her to brand him a 'narcissist' - resulting in him storming out the room.

Even after returning, the pair still clashed with Adam declaring that while he didn't think the relationship would work out - it didn't mean he wanted it to be over.

Polly also dropped the major bombshell that she hadn't worn her wedding ring in three days.

The episode ended with the on-screen couple still enraged over the ordeal with Polly calling Adam out one last time before storming off.

Prior to the airing of last night's episode, Adam has since shared a snap of himself to his followers with the caption: "Tonight is a hard watch..

"The final supper.

"Being accused of things you haven’t done, and called names is crazy... Moving swiftly forward...

"But I will happily hold my head up high, and have no regrets."

The reality TV star added: "Shout out to Nathan & Lacey for having my back and not letting false accusations come my way.

"Big love my fav couple."

After watching the episode back, Adam took to his story to share a video opening up about his behaviour during the programme, explaining to MAFS UK fans that there was 'only so much somebody can take'. Take a look:

He began: "That was a lot. Didn't enjoy watching that at all. Very uncomfortable watch.

"Don't know what to say."

Adam revealed he was 'getting emotional', revealing: "I don't get emotional. So that was hard."

He then thanked his fans for all their 'nice messages' which have been making his phone go 'crazy'.

"Sorry mum for swearing so much," Adam went on. "I had a few wines and I apologise for swearing. I don't normally swear like that, but it is what it is.

"It was a lot of heat to handle in the kitchen, but thanks for the positive messages."

The overlay text of the clip added: "Could of handled that better l think... but it is what it is...

"Only so much somebody can take."
