MAFS UK star Adam has addressed the moment he was swilled with red wine by his former flame Polly with a shock claim.
Viewers of last night's reunion episode were led to believe that the disgruntled bride had been victim of some crude remarks reportedly made by her 'ex' husband, but Adam now insists there's an entirely different side to the story.
For those in need of a reminder, Polly and Adam kicked off the series back in September as one of the most controversial couples.

Not only did Adam confess the lack of attraction he felt towards his other-half, but he went on to brutally give her the cold shoulder after the pair 'got intimate' together.
And during the infamous 'wife swap' segment of the series, fans believed he'd began catching feelings for co-star Amy, leaving Polly feeling hot-headed.
The angst reached an ultimate boiling point at the reunion dinner, however, when Adam revealed some rather cringe-worthy details their sex life - or lack thereof...
He accused Polly of 'putting Instagram posts about me, social media posts about me, digging me out in the group chats', before going on to announce 'We had sex three times in 10 weeks', claiming Polly was 'begging' for sex.

"You used to lie in bed and ask, 'Why won't you f**k me?'," he claimed. "You used to moan like a child."
It was then that Polly swilled him with a tall glass of vino, branding Adam a 'f*****g prick'.
Now, Adam has had his say on the moment on social media, claiming that Channel 4 producers edited the footage to make it sound as though he'd brought up their sex life out of the blue.

"I was so drunk think we all seen the eyes," he wrote in the caption of a photo of him drenched in wine.
"Edit made it look like I said the sex comments out of nowhere.. but I got accused of using her for sex.. and leading her on.. to the point Holly stuck up for me and said no he didn't you said you just wanted sex and you'd of been happy or something along them lines."
Adam also went on to share a tweet by someone else on his Instagram story, which read, "Polly has crossed the line, she needs to apologise.

"No..... She needed to be removed from the building!'.
In his repost of the message, he penned: "If only people knew what else happened on tonight's episodes [eyes emoji]".
Looks like there's more in store then...
