Married at First Sight UK’s Caspar Todd has set the record straight on his sexuality after fans queried whether it was a deciding factor in his split from ex-wife Emma Barnes.
The chaos has concluded and the curtain has officially been drawn over season nine of MAFS UK - and what a series it was!
From a divisive false teeth prank to public spats, explosive rows and ‘savage’ final vows, the recent instalment truly had it all.
Of the 11 couples initially paired up by experts only two pledged themselves at the final decision ceremony. However, they both confirmed their separation after the experiment finished.

One couple who didn’t make it to the final hurdle were Caspar, 34, and Emma, 31.
Unfortunately, their time together didn’t get off to the best start and later admitted that they didn’t see themselves in a romantic relationship.
After trying to make it work, the duo called it quits during the fifth commitment ceremony and are no longer an item.
During the MAFS UK reunion episode, Caspar confessed he still wears his wedding ring, citing his marriage to Emma was a 'really big part of [his] life'.

Now, the reality star has lifted the lid on why he and his ex-wife parted ways and whether it had anything to do with his sexuality.
On Thursday (15 November), Caspar took to Instagram to conduct an impromptu questions and answers session with his 27,600 followers.
Answering a fan who wrote: “Are you low key gay and that’s why you didn’t like Emma?” the gardener said: “No, I’m straight.”

“Always been straight, never been gay. Never went to boarding school,” he joked.
“No, I didn’t like Emma because she wasn’t my type and her personality, my personality didn’t match.”
After making the brutal confession, Caspar admitted that not gelling with someone you like 'happens to a lot of people out there'.
“Unfortunately, we found that out on a TV show so we’ll have to live with it,” he added.

Despite Caspar and Emma calling time on their marriage, there appears to be no bad blood between the pair.
On Thursday, Emma, a Bristol-based sales manager, took to Instagram to discuss the end of MAFS UK.
In a heartfelt post, she thanked her former flame for supporting her throughout the programme.
“I am so proud of every single person who put their heart on the line for this experiment,” she wrote to her 186,000 social media followers.

“Of Caspar, for giving me the opportunity, support and push to make myself be uncomfortable in personal growth. Of the crew, who worked tirelessly with 12KG cameras on their backs for up to 12 hours a day to get the footage for the series.”
“And finally of myself. I am proud my friends have said it’s like having me in their living rooms every night,” she continued.
“The way I handled challenges faced in my relationships, in the group, and not judging people by their covers - my biggest learning.
“I have honestly been overwhelmed with all of you who have followed me, liked a post, commented, sent messages, offered support, seen me in the flesh, stopped me for a selfie - thank you.”
