MAFS UK viewers in tears after hearing Kristina’s heartbreaking admission amid shocking twist

MAFS UK favourites Kristina Goodsell and Kieran Chapman exited the show last night following a devastating confession from the bride

There wasn't a dry eye in the Married At First Sight studio last night as one of the strongest 2024 couples - Kristina Goodsell and Kieran Chapman - called time on their relationship after a rough few weeks.

And by the sounds of things, one moment from their emotional announcement has seemingly stung viewers at home more than they expected, after dog-walker Kristina made a devastating admission about her romantic struggles.

Despite starting off the series as one of the most loved-up duos, recent bumps in the road took their toll on the pair, with mechanic Kieran having expressed fears about 'wasting time' with the wrong person for several days.

Following a laughter-littered wedding - to which Kieran rocked up in an iconic set of rotten false teeth - and a romantic honeymoon, it initially appeared as though nothing could stand in the way of the uber-compatible MAFS UK couple.

Sadly, however, a few weeks into the series, after Kristina made a brave confession about her battle with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), Kieran broke viewers' hearts by insisting he mightn't be able to handle a bride with such a condition.

Things subsequently went from bad to worse when Kieran jokingly kissed another bride - leaving Kristina gutted - before making a list of the ways she compared to another of his ex-girlfriends, and expressing serious doubts over their future together.

And during last night's instalment (5 November), their woes seemingly reached boiling point, and they both voted to 'leave' the show when asked by the experts.

Reflected on their journey together, Kieran began by telling Kristina: "I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving this your all.

"I just genuinely wish you the best for the future. Don't change for anyone."

Kristina then replied: "Thank you for the most magical, amazing day of my life at our wedding. I'm gutted but I do only wish you the best. You'll be in my life. Don't worry."

Despite all the gushy expressions of gratitude between the pair, there seems to have been one particularly poignant moment from last night's show that has left viewers even more devastated.

The scene in question saw Kristina expressing her hope that PMDD won't always dictate the success of her love life.

"I'm a lot, I know I am," she said as she broke down in tears. "I just want to be loved that's all it is, I just want to be loved."

PMDD is a health condition that causes severe physical and emotional symptoms in the run-up to your period and can make sufferers feel like a totally different person about one to two weeks before their period happens.

And by the sounds of it, Kristina's final statement about her condition has left viewers gutted.

"Omg I’m in bits," one penned on X. "Love Kristina she’s such a beautiful soul no agenda just wanted to find her future love and raised awareness of a condition I’d never heard about.

"I wish her the best life imaginable. Best person to ever enter #MAFSUK. Good luck Stina."

Another wrote: "Kristina will find her forever person. She is absolutely lovely. Beautiful inside and out."

Someone else added: "Kristina is literally the definition of beautiful inside and out. I’m routing for her finding her forever person."
