Married at First Sight UK viewers are collectively losing their minds over the first words from one groom to his new wife.
MAFS finally came back to us earlier this month, and it's safe to say the producers have had a field day when setting up the latest batch of hopeful singles.
The show, which sees two complete strangers tying the knot when meeting for the first time, has had us watching some excruciatingly awkward scenes through our fingers.

Dating experts Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas chose to 'lock in' Nathan Campbell, a 24-year-old engineer from Somerset, with Lacey Martin, a 27-year-old office manager from Hertfordshire.
Nathan, who is the youngest groom on the show, certainly showed his age when he made it clear he actual fancies Lacey's twin, Paige.
Before making his way down the aisle, Nathan said he's looking for somebody 'petite, funny, family-oriented and someone with traditional family values'.

Discussing his idea of a perfect date, he said: "My perfect date is doing something really fun. I like doing something really active, whether it’s like bowling, golf or anything like that."
Cue the drum roll.
When he finally came face to face with his bride, the only compliment he could muster was that she 'looked nice.'
This is after he said 'Wow', in regards to her twin, FYI.

One person wrote on X: "You look nice.................", with a hands covering eyes emoji.
Another wrote: "Nathan: “you look Nice” Lacey: “Nice, your Nan looks Nice”", alongside a Catherine Tate meme that reads 'what a f*****g liberty."
When waiting for Lacey at the altar, Nathan heard what turned out to be Paige walking down the aisle first.

He said: "I can hear the heels," before turning around and adding: "Wow."
When Paige then didn't meet him where he stood, instead taking a seat at a pew, he asked the guests: "Is that not her?"
He was then plainly informed: "No. It's her twin."
Lacey was told by her friends what had happened, later sharing with the camera crew: "It's not nice hearing that my husband is saying 'wow' to my twin. Growing up people used to say how my twin was prettier than me. That's annoyed me only because I didn't get a wow."

After tying the knot, Lacey asked Nathan, in incredible scenes: "So is your type petite, brunette, big batty gal? Because I'm what you asked for."
Nathan eventually replied with a non-convincing: "Yeah."
Lacey pressed: "You hesitated there."
Nathan then told Lacey she looked 'nice', adding insult to injury.
Lacey retorted: "Nice? I want beautiful. I want gorgeous. I want stunning. Your nan looks nice. Your mum looks nice."
