Married At First Sight UK's Sionainn has explained exactly why she was visibly shaking during the experiment and has revealed the real reason she left.

Channel 4 viewers will remember that the bride, who was coupled up with groom Ryan, decided to leave the show after just a few weeks on it together.

The pair bonded after opening up about their respective experiences with cancer, but ultimately opted to part ways in the end.

In an episode earlier this month (23 October), Ryan opened up to the other grooms about an explosive argument he'd had with Sionainn dropping the bombshell that he was exiting the show.

He said: "I'm leaving boys. We've had a proper argument and I was trying to do my laces.

"I was trying to retie my laces and it was getting on my nerves. So Sionainn was trying to help me. So I said, 'Oh just leave them, just leave them now.'"

He continued: "And she said, 'Oh don't speak to me like that.' She said to me she doesn't feel comfortable in the relationship and she doesn't know if I'm here for a genuine reason."

Sionainn also confided in fellow brides, Emma and Lacey, about the spat.

She said: "We had like a little fall out yesterday. And it was like, honestly over shoelaces, he just spoke to me really, really poorly."

The reality TV star also addressed she was so 'shaky', revealing in a fan Q&A: "I'm a shaky gal anyway but I had a horrible chest infection and was on my second course of steroids in a month after the honeymoon, so I was literally rattling."

She also shared with her MAFS UK co-stars in a recent episode, Emma and Lacey, the emotional reason why she left the show, pointing to Ryan's treatment of her as the main issue, OK! reports.

Sionainn explained: "He [Ryan] just spoke to me really, really poorly. And I said, 'Ryan don't speak to me like that. You're not going to speak to me like sh*t'.

"And it just flipped. He decided to tell me that none of his feelings had ever been real. He'd been faking it all. It was all a holiday romance for him."

Following their departure, Ryan explained some more about his decision in a heartfelt statement on Instagram after the episode aired.

Discussing why he made the decision to leave, he began: "Writing this is difficult, and to be honest, I'm not sure where to begin.

"The process of Married at First Sight is intense and an emotional rollercoaster and I genuinely believe I tried my absolute best throughout the whole process."

Ryan continued: "I was starting to develop real feelings and it meant a lot to hear Sionainn say she felt 'safe and comfortable' around me. This is something I truly pride myself on, not only as a man but also as a dad.

"I wish things would have turned out differently but now feels like the right time for myself and Sionainn to leave the experiment and I wish her all the best for the future."

Reflecting on the experience, he resolved: "I will always be grateful for the experience and the opportunity to learn and grow as a person as I continue to take these life lessons into my future."

Married at First Sight UK airs every Monday to Thursday at 9.00pm on E4.
