Margot Robbie improvised her kiss with Brad Pitt in their movie Babylon.
The Oscar nominee has graced our screens as the titular doll in Barbie, a crazy figure skater in I, Tonya, and Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.
When the time came to work alongside the Fight Club actor, 61, she decided to secure the help of the film’s director to ensure the scene was perfect - and for a good reason.

The Aussie star, 34, revealed that her kiss with her co-star was completely improvised, with the help of Damien Chazelle.
Just in case you haven’t seen the drama, Babylon has an ensemble cast and it tells the story of the rise and fall of different figures during Hollywood’s historic transition from silent to sound films in the late 1920s.

Robbie plays Nellie, an actress from New Jersey, and Pitt portrays a film star called Jack Conrad.

“I thought, ‘When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’m just gonna go for it',” she said, per People.
“I said, 'Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack. And Damien was like, 'Well, she could — wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt',” Robbie shared. “"And I was like, 'Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again.' And he was like, 'It does work for the character,' and I was like, 'I think so.'”
She managed to persuade the director. “He was like, ‘No, do it again. That really works.’ I was like, ‘Oh, great.’”
This is not the only time Robbie has made a bold move on set to get the most out of her character.

Robbie gained worldwide recognition after starring in the 2013 Martin Scorsese film The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Cristin Milioti, Jon Favreau, and Jon Bernthal.
The satirical biographical black comedy is based on Jordan Belfort's 2007 memoir of the same name.
It follows the career of Belfort - played by DiCaprio - as a stockbroker in New York City and how his firm, Stratton Oakmont, got twisted up in extreme corruption and fraud on Wall Street which ultimately lead to his downfall.

In the film, Robbie stars as Belfort's second wife, Naomi Lapaglia, who he leaves his first wife for.
In one scene where Robbie's character attempts to seduce DiCaprio, the actress decided she wanted to go against Scorsese's direction and take a risk in what would go on to become her major break-out role.
At first, the director told Robbie she could wear a robe for the scene if it made her more comfortable, but she wanted to do the whole thing 'completely naked'.
Speaking on the Talking Pictures: A Movie Memories podcast, Robbie explained: "That’s not what she would do in that scene. The whole point is that she’s going to come out completely naked - that’s the card she’s playing.

"I thought, I could kiss Leonardo DiCaprio right now, and that would be awesome," she revealed on the podcast.
"I can’t wait to tell all of my friends this. And then I thought… nah. And just walloped him in the face."
Robbie continued: "It was dead silence for what felt like an eternity but was probably three seconds.
"Then they just burst out laughing. Leo and Marty were laughing so hard, they said 'That was great'. I was thinking, 'I’m going to get arrested, I’m pretty sure that’s assault, battery'."
She imagined being told: "'Not only will you never work again, actually you will go to jail for this, you idiot. And also why did you have to hit him so hard? You should have done it lighter'."
