Following her controversial departure from the Channel 4 dating experiment last night, Married At First Sight UK star Charlie Curtis has released an emotional statement on social media.
She and on-screen 'wife' Eve Reid called time on their romance, having endured a rocky relationship since the series began.
When Charlie and Eve were first paired up by the show's resident match-makers last month, it initially appeared as though the duo could be one another's perfect match.

Sadly, however, it didn't take long for cracks to begin showing between the duo.
In recent days, we have seen the pair butt heads over letters that MAFS' love experts asked them to write to each other discussing their lives.
While Charlie was seen to be opening up about the effects of her parents' split - as well as her subsequent estrangement from her dad - Eve hadn't even bothered to write a letter landing her immediately in viewers' bad books.
And earlier this week, it emerged that Eve had been talking about the arguments within her marriage to some of the fellow brides, leading co-star Polly to unfairly brand Charlie a 'bully' - a reference Eve would be pleased with, and which would later see Charlie break down in tears.

Last night's instalment saw the couple's relationship come to a fiery end, with the pair opting to leave the experiment altogether.
Since then, hundreds of fans of the show have rallied around Charlie to show their support, with many going as far as to accuse Eve as having 'gaslit' her throughout the duration of the series.
Now, taking to social media, Charlie - who previously appeared on the Prime Video dating series Lovestruck High - has issued a message of gratitude to her fans, thanking them for supporting her through the process.

Sharing a video of herself on Instagram, she could be heard telling her followers: "Hi everyone. Hello to my new followers. Oh my goodness, it's all got a bit crazy overnight.
"Just wanted to come and basically say a huge, massive, thank you to everyone, for everyone's support.
"It's actually overwhelming, how much love and support I've had since, you know, just over the last couple of weeks, really."
She continued: "Yes, what happened happened. It is what it is.

"It was a really, really, really tough journey. But as time has passed, I'm happy.
"I'm doing well and I just feel like there's a lot of people out there that are really worried about me right now, and I just want to let everyone know that I'm doing okay.
"I'm actually doing really good. I'm just so happy that everyone saw it for what it was."
