Fans of Spanish MasterChef have once again been left horrified after a throwback snap of one of the long-standing cooking competition's 'biggest mistakes' has re-emerged on social media.
And let's just say, it's not for the faint-hearted.

MasterChef España has set tongues wagging, after one of the series' most unorthodox meals reemerged on social media.
Back in 2020, 27-year-old Saray Carrillo made a name for herself as one of the show's most hotly-debated contestants.
Carrillo's fate took a turn after she was challenged to make a dish using partridge.
The game bird was presented to the contestants still stuffed with its internal organs, which she was expected to remove before cooking.
The task was to pluck and clean the partridge before using it as the protein of a mouth-watering meal - all within 20 minutes.

And while her competitors seemed to follow the instructions with ease, Carrillo rejected all logic.
She'd previously said how she hated the idea of prepping and cooking game, so she figure the challenge was a set-up designed to get to her.
As such she decided to protest, and needless to say it cost her dearly.
Instead of cooking the poultry in any way, she strutted over to the judges, handing them a plate, with the bird having only been topped with a handful of cherry tomatoes, as well as a few slithers of spring onion.

Naturally, the panel of culinary moguls were severely disappointed.
One of them said: "This is never seen in MasterChef."
Head judge Jordi Cruz Mas subjected the contestant to a bout of abuse, slamming her for the 'lack of respect' she showed him, as well as the 28,000 people who'd applied to be part of that season of MasterChef.

He also brutally told her it was a 'mistake' that she qualified to be on the show. Ouch.
Fans of the show were further shocked when she was immediately asked to remove her apron and leave the line-up for good.
She didn't seem overly bothered to be shown the door, telling her fellow contestants 'bye bye' on her way out.
Responding to the feedback in a confessional, Carrillo claimed she had a 'black mark' against her name from the debut episode.

"I feel fine because I feel free," she added. "I don’t think I disrespected anyone at all.
"It wasn’t how I’d imagined leaving MasterChef but hey, that’s what happened."
