Carol Vorderman issues hilarious response after I’m A Celeb’s Melvin Odoom reveals he has crush on her

Carol Vorderman has spoken out after I'm A Celeb's Melvin Odoom confessed his love for her on the show.

Life in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle seems to be pretty harmonious.

There hasn't been any controversy between campmates as of yet, despite being starving due to a lack of winning stars in the Bushtucker trials.

The celebrities have been opening up to each other about their personal lives, and Melvin Odoom had a pretty interesting confession for the camp.

After receiving his luxury item from home, chosen by his family, his campmates were baffled when he received a pillow with Carol Vorderman's face on it.

Alongside Carol on the pillow was his friends and family.

Melvin opened up about the pillow, confessing that he actually had a huge crush on Carol.

This prompted the campmates to conduct a role-play of Melvin asking Carol on a date, in which Tulisa played the leading lady.

And it seems as though Carol very much approved of the performance!

The TV personality has since issued a hilarious response on Instagram following Melvin's confession.

The star said: "Well hello @melvinodoom, or shall I say Melvin Vorderman or Jungle Man which sounds very much like Vorder Man?

"I'm having so much fun watching the camp mates having a joke with Melvin in the @imacelebrity jungle and @tulisacontostavlos you did a great impression!

"So what do you think guys?"

He received the pillow as a luxury item. (ITV)

Since her response, fellow celebrities have been begging Carol to meet Melvin on the bridge when he leaves the jungle.

First Dates host Fred Sirieix commented: "Buy a ticket and fly to Oz to wait for Melvin on the other side of the bridge. It’s a win win if you ask me x"

Sirieix went even further, suggesting that he would love to welcome the pair to the First Dates restaurant.

Now that is some TV we would love to see.

Fellow presenter Clara Amfo said: "This has been a years long thing!"

Former I'm a Celeb star Amir Khan added: "Im totally addicted to this love affair!"

Carol has even put the bombshell confession in her Instagram bio, where she wrote: "Campaigner, Broadcaster, Multiple Best Selling Author (& @melvinodoom’s #IAC crush apparently!)"

We're sure Melvin will be completely in awe when he receives the news outside of the jungle.
