A mum has been slammed as 'toxic' after she criticised her daughter's 'chubby arms' during a wedding dress fitting.
The outspoken matriarch even insisted that her daughter opt for a sleeved gown.
Angelica Boccella had been visiting the dress store with her mother Lisa and sister Victoria on an episode of TLC's Say Yes To The Dress.

Angelica had described her mother as a 'momzilla' - and she soon lived up to that title.
Criticisms of Angelica's figure came in fast, leading many viewers to accuse her mum of body-shaming.
While browsing the rails, Lisa announced: "I want her to have a sleeve because she has chubby arms. I don't want your arms hanging out."
She continued: "I talk about Angelica being chubby because if you're going to be a bride, it's the best day of your life, I want her to be a little thinner."

Initially, Angelica was undeterred by the barbed comments and opted for a stunning $10,500 (£8,900) Pnina Tornai gown - complete with Swarovski crystals.
While Angelica and her sister loved the dress, their mum was less than thrilled.
Lisa remarked: "Look at her back all hanging out... I don't like her chubby arms sticking out."

Talking to camera, she said: "Don't mums have to tell you the truth?
"She will come over to the house and be like 'Do I look like I lost weight?' and I'm like 'hmm' - because I can't lie - 'Keep going, you need to lose more.'"
It was clear that Angelica wasn't in the mood for her mum's remarks as she shot back: "I just believe you should enjoy the phase you are in... I think I still look great.
"And if I hear you ask me about losing weight one more time, I'm going to fat shame you."

TikTok viewers seemed to be firmly on Angelica's side.
One supporter wrote: "Her mother is so toxic and projecting her own issues and feelings onto her daughter.
"That bride is beautiful and puts up with her mother with an unbelievable amount of grace."

Another added: "The mom needs to leave. Who does their child like this? LADY you are the worst!"
While a third simply said: "I'm sorry but her mom is rude."
Somebody else fumed: "Her mother is so toxic and projecting her own issues and feelings onto her daughter."
Admittedly, what would a wedding be without a few dramas?
