Phillip Schofield is set to return to our screens tonight following his explosive exit from ITV's This Morning in 2023 - and clips show he doesn't hold back when discussing his former colleagues.
Schofield, 62, left his role as a daytime TV presenter on the beloved show beside Holly Willoughby after it transpired he had embarked upon an affair with a much younger male colleague.
The presenter publicly came out as gay in 2020 and received an outpouring of support.

Regarding the affair, Schofield remarked it was 'unwise, but not illegal', and had previously denied it.
His perceived fall from grace led to much speculation as to whether or not he'd ever appear on TV again - and to many, the wait wasn't quite as long as expected.
Schofield's next TV appearance
For those wanting to tune in and see what Schofield has to say about the fallout and extensive media scrutiny that followed - he will be on TV tonight.

Starring in Channel 5 reality show Castaway, Schofield will be on a desert island off the coast of Madagascar for 10 days.
A Channel 5 spokesperson told the Guardian: "[Schofield is] left on the island with a handful of cameras, which would allow him to 'confront the challenges of total isolation, the forces of nature, and provides the time to battle within his own mind as he explores his own controversial story'."
Schofield said of the show: "This is most definitely a first for me and the only thing I felt compelled to do. It appealed to me on so many levels.

“I’ve recently had a lot of time to think about my life, what went right and what went wrong, but I’ve always had the safe arms of friends and family wrapped around me. This time it’s just me, no phone, no comforts, no crew, and only lip balm as a luxury."
During the show, Schofield spends a lot of time reflecting on his ITV career - and those he perceives to have let him down.
'Absolutely no loyalty shown'
In jaw-dropping scenes, Schofield reflects: "When what happened to me happened to me, it screwed up my favourite building in the world, and it pretty well blew away all those happy memories, and suddenly, the place became hostile to me, and that was heartbreaking.

"And the people who did it to me, know, they know how important that building was to me. They know that when you throw someone under a bus, you've got to have a really bloody good reason to do it. Brand, ambition is not good enough. It's not a good enough reason to throw someone under a bus."
He continued: "I was just thinking there as I was collecting wood. There are only three s***s. "One of them is a coward who never stepped up in queue gate.
"One of them is a coward because they never stepped up when I was being battered by one journalist.... and the other one is just brand-oriented."

He continued: "When you've given so much to somewhere and been so loyal, to have absolutely no loyalty shown to you. I know what I did was unwise, not sensible. But is it enough to absolutely destroy someone? Literally, destroy them."
He added that he 'does not care anymore,' and he has 'nothing to lose'.
