Between Harlan Coben's much-anticipated Fool Me Once to the highly controversial Mr Bates vs The Post Office - it's clear we're beyond spoilt for choice when it comes to proper good telly just three days into 2024.
One particularly haunting adaptation, which only landed on ITV last month, has been leaving viewers traumatised after binge-watching the new supernatural psychological thriller series.

The four-part series, which stars Top Boy's Jasmine Jobson, is based on the 2019 novel Platform 7 by Louise Doughty. Check out the official trailer here:
The official ITV premise reads: "A suicide on Platform 7 prompts a woman and a Transport Police officer to investigate the details surrounding her death."
Platform 7 follows school teacher Lisa (Jobson) witness a cataclysmic event on platform seven of a railway station and, in her memory, she finds a connection between her own life and the event she just witnessed.

Lisa and PC Akash, played by Yaamin Chowdhury, continue to chase down clues about her death as Akash receives an unexpected lead and Lisa experiences a pretty chilling breakthrough.
A flashback to the beginning of Lisa and her relationship with doctor boyfriend Matt (Toby Regbo) gives vital clues to the state of her mental health, and how things eventually ended.
After gathering more clues to solve the bizarre mystery, Akash races against time to gather evidence for Lisa's case as Lisa sets out to protect someone and to get justice.

It's clear fans absolutely loved the programme with many taking to social media to share their praise.
One X, formerly Twitter, user penned: "F*ck me... Platform 7 on ITV is amazing. Episode three is a particularly hard watch, as is the whole series, so I had to binge-watch - fantastic series, with the caveat that it's quite intense."
"Platform 7 on ITV highly recommended," wrote a second. "Great bit of British drama, that."
