Everybody's favourite cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants, premiered back in 2000, but it's still managing to blow people's minds due to the details.
The animated TV show follows the various exploits of a sea sponge, the eponymous SpongeBob SquarePants, who works as a cook at the Krusty Krab in the Pacific Ocean.
The town in which he lives, Bikini Bottom, includes his pineapple-shaped house, and his neighbour is also his best friend, Patrick Star, who lives under a rock.

Patrick is known for being rather dumb, which, when paired with his house - a rock - has sparked a lightbulb moment among viewers.
One person wrote on X: "I just realised mid-biology lecture (we're talking about turtles, and I remembered that episode where his house is a turtle) that the reason Patrick Star is dumb is because he 'Lives under a rock' just like the saying. My mind is absolutely blown right now."
Essentially, when someone asks 'have you been living under a rock?' they're asking if you're dumb.... so it all makes complete sense.

One person responded: "I guess we all just found out we live under rocks."
Another said: "Congrats, you’re now eligible to be Patrick’s roommate."
A third joked: "Star fish are often found under rocks."
In other lightbulb moment news, viewers have just clocked on to a hidden message in Disney Pixar movies.

The secret code is 'A113', which appears many times in the Toy Story franchise on the license plate of Andy's mum's car.
Secondly, it appears in A Bug's Life, emblazoned on a box as the barcode 'A113', shortly after Flik arriving in the city.
the scuba diver in Finding Nemo has an A-113 model camera.
The beloved sequel, Finding Dory, follows the lore of Toy Story, in that it features a license plate reading 'CAL A113', or California A113.

But of course, it doesn't stop there. During The Incredibles, we don't directly see the code, but Mr Incredible is held on level A1 in cell 13 after being apprehended by law enforcement.
The sequel, Incredibles 2, features yet more references to the mysterious 'A113', which includes a movie title, 'Dementia A113', as well as a document code on the top-right corner of the International Superhero Accords.
While we don't want to bog you down with every single reference, you can have it on good authority that it appears in Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Brave, the Monsters Inc. franchise, Inside Out, Coco, Soul, Luca, and Turning Red.

Of course, you're now wondering what A113 means.
It has been widely reported to be a reference to a classroom at the California Institute of the Arts.
The California Institute of the Arts, or CalArts, said in a statement emailed to Reuters that room A113 is a former Character Animation classroom where many animation artists, including Pixar staff Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton and Pete Doctor studied while enrolled at CalArts.
The more you know, eh.
