Suits fans have been left confused by the latest spin-off series after the show made an exciting announcement earlier this week.
The much-loved legal drama is about to make a return in spin-off form, Suits: LA, after the OG series came to an end in 2019.
It's certainly an exciting time for Suits fans, especially considering the news that Gabriel Macht’s character Harvey Specter is making a return for a few episodes.

However, some viewers have been left confused over the premise of the show.
If you watched the OG series, you'll know that it focused on a university expellee named Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) who accidentally falls into a job interview for a prestigious, big-city law firm.
After immediately impressing bosses and keeping his controversial history under the radar, he and charismatic attorney Harvey Specter are paired up together, taking on some of the city's biggest court cases.
Of course, Ross' identity comes out and he gets into trouble, but thankfully, Pearson Hardman chairs keep him on.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, also starred in the legal drama before she was a member of the royal family, alongside Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres, among others.
The show has amassed many loyal fans, and while they're looking forward to a spin-off, they seem to be asking the same question.
"The hook for Suits was that Mike was working as a lawyer in a big firm without a law degree which was the twist of a unique storyline, what makes Suits LA stand out and not just 'another lawyer tv show'?", one asked.

Aanother said: "Why wasn't it just a new franchise altogether? The whole premise of Suits was '2 lawyers, 1 degree', and Mike's character brought something new to a legal dramedy. It was compelling."
And a third added: "Suits LA just looks like a court procedural from the trailer. Doesn't look bad, just not Suits."
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "The whole concept of a 'Suits LA version' doesn't make sense at all to me because the concept of Suits wasn't JUST rich lawyers in NYC the whole concept was Mike being a gifted kid who didn't have a law degree and practicing it anyway... that was the whole plot of the show?"

"Just found out they are making a Suits spinoff show set in LA…but there’s no Harvey and Donna... and no Mike with his super memory and fake degree... I wonder what their spin on it will be... cuz there has to be something otherwise it’s only a show about lawyers," added a fifth.
Others questioned whether the show would still retain its magic, with another adding: "I wonder how Suits LA gonna work...some of the magic of the OG series was around the guy practicing without a law degree."
So what do we know about the spin-off?
The show - which is set to drop in February - is based on Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor who is representing some high profile clients in LA.
