Warning: This articles contains spoilers for The Traitors
Tonight (24 January) is the eagerly-anticipate finale episode of The Traitors - something we've been looking forward to for what feels a forever now.
Despite the series of the hit BBC show only having 12 episodes, it's clear we've all been absolutely hooked but some viewers have since raised their concerns that the final has already been 'ruined' before its even been aired.

Now, last night's episode of The Traitors (23 January) saw host Claudia Winkleman reveal a major twist.
The twist in question sees that one of the five remaining contestants - Traitor Charlotte and Faithfuls Leanne, Francesca, Alexander and Leanne - will become 'The Seer'.
Luckily for Faithful Francesca, she won the title and is set to be granted 'an extraordinary power' to find out the true identify about whether one other contestant is a Faithful or a Traitor.

"The Seer has the power to learn one other player’s identity," Claudia explained. "The Seer will invite one player this evening to a private, face-to-face meeting.
"The player that they’ve chosen will have no choice and must reveal if they are a Faithful or a Traitor. This power could turn the entire game on its head."
And in a stroke of luck, Francesca opted to 'see' Charlotte's true identity in the hopes of confirming her Faithful status - something which couldn't be further from the truth.

Now, while that upcoming interaction is definitely going to make for some cracking telly, some fans of the reality TV programme are worried that the way it's all panned out has now 'ruined' the game.
Such critics have pointed out that when Charlotte inevitably tells Francesca she's a Traitor, the pair will both come out of the meeting trying their hardest to convince the remaining three cast-mates that the other is a Traitor.
While Leanne, Alexander and Jake could believe Francesca and only banish Charlotte, they may end up being super suspicious of both parties and end up banishing them both just to be on the safe side.
Taking to social media to share their gripes, one Twitter user declared (via The Independent): "I think being the Seer is riskier than they realise. If you both come out saying you’re Faithful, you’re safe.

"But if you discover a Traitor (as Frankie will), you’ll end up going at each other to survive & the others just need to vote both of you out as a safeguard."
"Really not a fan of this ‘seer’ twist," penned a second. "Frankie and Charlotte will just argue saying each other are Traitors, the Faithful will have to banish both to be 100 per cent sure, guaranteeing a faithful win.
"It’s taken away any of the tension from the finale."

Another chimed in: "Personally, don’t think the producers should interfere with the show’s central game of 'guessing who is who' #TheTraitors."
And a final X user echoed: "The Seer has ruined this finale. They’ll both go at each other.
"The other three won’t have any way of knowing who’s telling the truth, so will hold two meetings and vote them both out to guarantee their own win."
The BBC declined to comment when approached by Tyla.
