Hidden NSFW joke in Toy Story that most adults won’t even notice is there

Hidden NSFW joke in Toy Story that most adults won’t even notice is there

Our childhoods have been ruined once again

On reflection, it seems like just about every single thing we watched when were kids seems to have at least one thing fairly X-rated about it.

From Kristen Bell hiding an NSFW joke in one iconic Frozen song without anybody realising all the way through to the lyrics change in The Little Mermaid which meant that Prince Eric doesn't 'force himself' on Ariel - it's clear the things we watched in our childhoods weren't always PG.

And the latest bombshell discovery surrounds a hidden NSFW joke in Toy Story that most adults won’t even notice is there.

Now, the first ever film in the franchise graced our screens - and our hearts - way back when in 1995.

The franchise features five animated feature films so far; Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999), Toy Story 3 (2010), Toy Story 4 (2019), and a spin-off film with Lightyear (2022).

Toy Story 5 was also recently announced back in August and is set to be released in 2026.

However, the first movie had one pretty sneaky adult joke that definitely flew right over our heads when we watched it the first time around.

Amid the main characters, Woody, Buzz and Bo Peep, we were also introduced to Sid - the main antagonist of the film.

Now, Sid - who was Andy's next-door neighbour - had a bit of a penchant for destroying toys only to jumble the odd parts back together again to engineer brand-new 'mutant' creations.

Some were pretty creepy, including a baby doll's head fused to a spider-like robotic body.

One hybrid creation, named Legs, was fashioned out of a pair of Barbie legs and a fishing rod, which could be a double entendre to mean 'hooker'.

After making the connection, cinephiles couldn't wait to share their discovery, with one X user writing: "In Toy Story (1995), one of Sid's hybrid toys is literally a 'hooker'."

"Oh God," lamented a second, while a third chimed in: "Her name is Legs too."

A fourth echoed: " This toy from Toy Story was the subliminal representation of a hooker, get it?"

"How did I not see this?" quipped a fifth, while a sixth exclaimed: "Omg!! How did I miss this?!?"

"Wait that was the joke whole time?" wondered another and a final X user added: "I never even thought about that.

"Even rewatching the movie as an adult I never made that connection knowing they put dirty adult humour in movies all the time."
