Real reason I’m A Celeb’s Tulisa is exempt from next Bushtucker Trial

Real reason I’m A Celeb’s Tulisa is exempt from next Bushtucker Trial

Fans were shocked by Tulisa's admission during the show

This is the real reason why I'm A Celeb's Tulisa is 'medically exempt' from some Bushtucker trials, after her admission puzzled some fans.

The celebrities have been in the jungle for a week now, and it hasn't been without a few bickers.

ITV viewers saw Dean McCullough snap at Alan Halsall in one episode, after he woke him from a nap to help Jane Moore collect some wood for the fire.

Last night's show saw Coleen Rooney take on her first Bushtucker trial alongside Dean, who has been consistently voted to do trials.

The pair faced 'Absolute Carnage', which saw her trapped in a box in the back of a car - filled with cockroaches, crickets, giant mealworms, and rats.

Dean was required to rummage through a garage area filled with similar creatures, with the aim of finding tools to pass to Coleen, in order to unlock stars for camp.

In a shock revelation at the end of the episode, Ant and Dec revealed that Dean would also be taking on tomorrow night's trial - Jack and the Screamstalk.

But fans were left confused when Tulisa revealed that she was 'medically exempt' from the trial, because it would involve heights.

The star said quietly: "I know it's heights because it's what I'm medically exempt from."

One fan on X said: "Didn’t Tulisa jump out of a helicopter?? How is she exempt from this trial due to heights?"

Another agreed, adding: "Didn’t Tulisa just say she was medically exempt from heights, didn’t she jump out of a helicopter?"

A third said: "Anyone else hear that from Tulisa in the closing seconds of tonight’s #ImACeleb she knew the task would be heights because she read it in the exemptions… not sure we were meant to hear that."

The singer revealed before heading on the infamous show that she suffered with Bell's palsy - making her exempt from some challenges.

During an appearance on Loose Women in 2020, she said: "I do suffer from Bell's palsy...it can cause facial paralysis, it can cause swelling.

"I think the first attack I had was after a serious horse-riding accident. I fractured my skull and it caused a lot of nerve damage."

The condition causes symptoms whereby there is an inability to move one side of the face, as well as a drooping eyelid and corner of the mouth, loss of taste or dry mouth, and a dry or watering eye.

The former X-Factor judge added: "At any time, I have emergency steroids on me, and now luckily I know how to manage it, so the attacks don't last as long."
