Ever since Friends landed on our television screens 30 years ago, fans have been left dying to know whether any of the six main actors ever 'hooked up' in real life.
In a shock confession, however, stars of the show Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer recently revealed that two members of the famous six-some did break their long-standing 'no sex pact', but managed to keep it hidden all these years.
Throughout the 10 years it aired, the six main characters in much-loved sitcom Friends crossed over, intertwined and shared romances with one another left right and centre.

In fact, there was rarely an episode where at least two members of the close-knit group - which consisted of Rachel Greene, Chandler Bing, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribiani and Ross and Monica Geller - weren't romantically involved.
Throughout the first few series', we see Rachel (played by Jennifer Aniston) endure an on-again off-again relationship with Ross (David Schwimmer), which results in them welcoming a daughter, Emma, together.
And in the last few instalments, Chandler (played by the late, great Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox) take their friendship to the next level, eventually going on to tie the knot and adopt a beautiful set of twins.
Several episodes also tease the idea of a controversial romance between Rachel and Joey (Matt Le Blanc) - though their chemistry is soon quashed when they realise they're unable to break the intimacy barrier.

Littered within the longer-term romances, we also saw several 'what if' episodes, many of which gave viewers a glimpse into some rather unexpected flings.
Phoebe tricks Chandler into a smooch when she and Rachel discover he and Monica are fooling around, and in one 'flashback', not only do we see Rachel enjoy a day-dream about kissing Chandler, but we also see Phoebe enjoying a pool table make-out session with Ross.
And - in perhaps one of the most controversial of the show's storylines - Ross discovers that he accidentally kissed his own sister, Monica, instead of Rachel during an college party.

Let's call a spade, a spade - Friends was a sex partner shop and swap!
Apparently, however, not all relationships occurred in front of the camera.
Gathering for a cast reunion in 2016 to celebrate the career of the sitcom's director James Burrows, TV presenter Andy Cohen quizzed the group about their alleged romances off-screen, asking them directly about their rumoured 'no sex pact'.

Initially, the group remained quiet and attempted to avoid answering the question - that was, until Lisa Kudrow piped up.
"David, say something!" she laughed, to which Schwimmer confirmed: "Well, that was broken!"
Tragically, however, the pair never actually revealed which two cast members had gotten freaky.
Maybe we'll have to wait another 30 years...
