Baba Vanga's eerie mystical accuracy could be about to strike again from beyond the grave as one of her prophecies is feared to come true in just days.

With less than a month of 2025 left to go, people are turning to alleged prophets like the late Baba Vanga and Nostradamaus as well as modern day seers like 'Living Nostradamus' Athos Salomé for guidance on what the next year could hold for the world.

For those unfamiliar with Baba Vanga, although she died in 1996 her predictions have lived on and she has since become a prominent figure among believers and theorists.

Her alleged correct theories include 9/11, the rise of President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama, and the assassination of Indira Gandhi.

She issued a list of chilling predictions for 2026, which include more conflict and natural disasters, while Nostradamus has warned of more war and high-profile political figures getting big wins.

But with everyone so focused on next year, some of us are forgetting that there's still a whole month left of 2025, which is plenty of time for the remaining predictions of this year to come true.

One of which could be unfolding this week, particularly on Friday (5 December).

To explain, one of Baba Vanga's 2025 predictions was that extra-terrestrial life would make contact with the Earth for the first time during a 'major sporting event'.

According to MailOnline, the mystic specifically foresaw a UFO appearing 'new light in the sky' over the event, apparently allowing humanity to meet extraterrestrials for the first time and 'bringing the world answers instead of fear'.

She allegedly said that people from the around the world would be able to see it unfold, but failed to specify which event it would take place at.

Now, we've already passed many huge sports events like Wimbledon, the Ryder Cup and the Women's Euros, thankfully without an alien invasion, but there's still many other games and matches, as well as the FIFA World Cup 2026 draw in Washington DC, taking place this month.

Although this isn't an actual sporting event like a literal football match, it's still hugely important and is tied to a one of the biggest football competitions in the world.

It also appears to match up to the whole 'people from around the world being able to see it'.

The ceremony usually takes around one hour and sees all 48 teams who qualified be randomly placed into 12 groups of four, to decide who plays whom in the opening stage of the tournament next summer, which will take place at stadiums throughout America.

According to the publication, as much as 300 million people from around the globe are expecting to watch it live.

However, it's important to note that Baba Vanga actually left no specific written records of her prophecies and most accounts reportedly come from her niece, Krasimira Stoyanova, or other followers who took note of her alleged visions after her death.

But she has been completely spot on before, so I guess we'll have to wait and see whether aliens do invade on Friday...
