We've encountered our fair share of bridezillas thanks to the internet and now people are discussing one woman's strict rules for her wedding day.
The rules were originally shared by the bride on Facebook before a Reddit user took a screenshot and shared it in the 'Wedding Shaming' thread.

The first rule states that children are not allowed at the wedding ceremony. There are some understandable rules, such as guests are warned against inviting people who are not invited themselves and ensuring all guests who drink should have a sober ride home.
The ninth and final rule even encourages everyone at the ceremony to ‘HAVE FUN!!’ however some requests have raised a few eyebrows on Reddit.
Guests must wear black otherwise they won’t be allowed to be in any pictures and those who are not in the bridal party are not allowed to touch the bride’s dress.

Song requests are strictly prohibited and because it is ‘AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY!’ photos before the first kiss and the reception are banned.
One Reddit user defended the rules and claimed that the ‘delivery’ of how the rules are relayed is ‘key’ to whether they are acceptable. “These honestly don’t seem that bad to me, but it’s a reminder that delivery is key to setting wedding rules,” they wrote.
One response agreed with this take and said that the way the bride wrote the rules make them seem harsh. “I totally agree with you her delivery is terrible. It feels like she’s screaming at everybody with her all caps,” they wrote. “It honestly makes it sound like a trashy wedding. I don’t know why but number five bugs me”.

Someone else agreed and replied: “None of them are an issue in and of themselves. All of them are an issue in the tone in which they are presented.”
A fourth Reddit account posted: “The tone is the worst part, but some of these are honestly kind of weird and aggressive to say. Like do you really have to send ‘no song requests’ or ‘don’t touch my dress’ in advance like that?
“Can’t you just ask the DJ not to take requests and trust that your guests won’t touch you or RSVP without showing up, since these are basic manners? And is she really forcing everyone to wear black?
A fifth quipped: “The fact that the exclamation marks are in red makes it seem like a threat.”

Note to self - write wedding rules in a pleasant tone.
