Last week, Tyla reported that a collection of eerie conspiracy theories were doing the rounds online, all of which suggested what it might mean if a person has lived their entire life without ever breaking a bone.
Now, a licensed doctor has chimed in on the debate, revealing whether there's truth to any of the four viral theories, or whether it's all just a compilation of old wives' tales.
What are the four theories?
Whilst each of the four postulations have been covered in the media in their own respect, self-professed medium and psychic named Rachel Stiles recently put them together for the ease of her Instagram followers.

In the post, she revealed the theories centre around Protection, Suffering, Reincarnation, and Connection - so, let's get into each.
Protection
The alleged medium began by explaining theory No. 1, which she says describes those who haven't broken a bone being 'protected by people in the spirit world'.
"Depending on what you believe, this could be a spirit guide, angel, or a loved one who has passed, protecting you from the other side," Stiles went on, before quoting a Biblical passage.

Writing the words from Psalm 34, passages 19-20, she went on: "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from the all. He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken."

Suffering
The second of the viral theories hinges on the basis that some individuals may have avoided breaking a bone in this life because they are destined to endure emotional pain instead.

"To even the scales, you are given a stronger frame to bear the emotional suffering," she wrote.
Reincarnation
This concept, sometimes known alternatively as either 'rebirth' or 'transmigration', describes the belief that a person's soul is reborn in a new body after they've died - a process which repeats itself again and again.
And as explained by Stiles, not having broken any bones throughout the duration of your life so far could indicate, 'symbolically' that your 'soul has developed strong spiritual bones through past lives'.
Suffering
Lastly, the alleged psychic explains that bones are supposedly sacred in many varying cultures around the world, and these body parts have an innate connection to 'ancestral wisdom'.

"To never break a bone could signify that you are deeply connected to your ancestors," Stiles wrote online. "And that their strength flows through you."
A doctor's view
Speaking exclusively to Tyla, Dr Claire Merrifield - who works as a GP and medical director at Selph - addressed the four theories mentioned, sadly shutting them down from a scientific perspective.

She explained, instead, that if someone has lived their entire life without having broken a bone, it's likely due to certain genetic characteristics.
"Essentially we all have micro fractures all the time so the bones break a little then re form and it’s that that keeps bones strong," she explained.
"Breaking a bone usually only happens in young people if there’s an extreme force on the bone like a fall from a height or something falling on us."
Dr Merrifield added that it's vital to note that any bone can be broken 'right the right amount of force', adding: "If you haven’t broken a bone yet it likely means you’ve never had enough impact or force applied to your bones - it's definitely not something to worry about."
She went on to explain: "As we age if we don’t keep our bodies moving and keep stressing the bone ,and as women go through menopause and lose the protective effect of oestrogen, bones become more brittle and can break from much less force, such as fall from small height."
Asked her advice when it comes to keeping our bones healthy, Dr Merrifield went on to suggest: "It’s essential to eat enough calcium, take vitamin D in winter and take part in exercise with force - things like strength training, running, dancing and jumping are all great for this."
