Festival season is officially upon us, and the UK’s most famous music festival is back for its 54th year this weekend.
Yep, it's that time of year again for Glastonbury, whether you plan to be right there in the thick of it or will be watching from the comfort of your sofa at home.
This year, the lucky ones who managed to bag a ticket will get to see the likes of Dua Lipa, SZA, Coldplay and Shania Twain live in action.

However, it's not just about the music at Glasto, which is also famous for all the general vibes you can soak up as you wander round the sprawling site, with everything from circus shows, comedy acts and cinema screenings also on offer.
Even with the smelly long-drops and mud - though this week's heat wave will ensure there won't be much of that - it's become THE place to be when June rolls around.
As such, it's an event that people wait all year long for, and are often more than happy to have paid £355 for that golden ticket - a significant increase from 2023, when they cost £335.

However, it turns out that's not the only price that some people are complaining about after seeing the bar list for this year's event.
A snap of this year's drinks prices has been shared on X by someone who'd been sent it by an 'insider on site'.
One user commented: “I’ve been 4 times over the last 8 years. Each time it’s gotten noticeably more expensive.”

Last year it was £6.50 for a pint of lager, while this year it has risen by 25p to £6.75.
Other prices include £2.50 for a can of water, £30 for a bottle of wine or £7.75 for a medium glass, and a double spirit and Red Bull for £9.75.
The most expensive item on the drinks list is a bottle of prosecco, costing the huge sum of £43.50.
Another X user claimed the drinks prices were 'exorbitant' and another said it was 'daylight effin’ robbery'.

However, not everyone is disgusted in the prices with one woman tweeting: “Glastonbury drinks prices pretty much cheaper than every single festival out there that I am aware of.”
What's more, festival-goers at Glastonbury are also allowed to carry their own drinks into the main site, unlike some events, meaning they can always grab a few tinnies from the tent if they're not keen on forking out for a freshly-poured pint.
No matter your opinion the weather looks perfect for a weekend of sun, music and good vibes so you are guaranteed a great weekend regardless.
