If you're hitting an afternoon slump, then chances are you're probably reaching for something sweet to much on.

And what's better than a bag of Haribo to offer that boost of sugar to keep you going after 3pm?

Yet I bet you've been opening the bag by just ripping it open at the top, meaning the sweets can end up spilling out... right?

Well, there's actually a 'correct way' to open Haribo bag and people are losing their minds over how neat it is.

In the video, TikTok user Anna from Germany is seen watching a video showing someone opening the bag of Haribo neatly at the back using the tab, before then using it to wrap around the opened bag of sweets.

Captioning a video clip, she writes: "Don’t tell me you knew that?!"

The video sees Anna rushing to her local shop, purchasing a bag of Haribo before rushing back to try it out for herself.

She is then left open mouthed as the hack works perfectly and she can open her sweets, and then reseal them neatly for later.

If you want to be able to do it too, you need a big bag of Haribo and then you can simply take a hold of the small tab at the top (the bit that usually holds it up in the shop) and then pull it down at the back of the bag.

The plastic should neatly pull away, and can then be used to reseal the bag by wrapping through the hanger tab at the top and tying neatly.

Tidy and neat, and not one sweet spills out and you're also not savagely pulling corners apart either.

Turns out that Anna is not the only one who's been left shocked by the correct way to do things either as plenty of people online have been left stunned at the hack.

One person wrote: "I lived in the dark for 42 years," as another shared: "This hack is amazing."

"This has changed my life," said a third.

Yet for some on TikTok, they were pointing out what many of us were thinking, which is who on earth saves their Haribo sweets?!

You mean you're not just eating the whole lot at once and feeling sick after? Oh, just me then...

One person pointed out: "I don’t understand, why would I not eat the whole bag in one sitting."

As another thought similar, sharing: "Doesn't matter...I never need to reseal them."

"Honestly... who reseals a bag of Haribo? They're scoffed in one sitting" said another.
