Many of us like to spend our free time scrolling through social media drooling over other people’s meals – whether we’d like to admit to it or not.
But one person ended up sparking an unexpected debate after they lashed out at a snap of one social media user’s ‘heart attack’ food, prompting the business behind to step in and defend themselves.
Posting in a local group, one fan shared a photo of her takeaway roast dinner, gushing about the ‘yummy’ meal she’d just enjoyed from the Not Just Baps van in Yateley, Hampshire, which serves up roasts, breakfast, jacket potatoes and more.

She wrote: “Want to give a huge shout out to Not Just Baps. We’ve just had a roast from there and it was amazing!! Absolutely delicious. So yummy and freshly cooked. Huge portion sizes!
“We had the 3 meat carvery and the meats were cooked perfectly. The lady and her son running it were lovely and friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.”
But it seemed not everyone felt the same, with one hater commenting underneath: “Heart attack food.”

The original poster doubled down on her praise, saying this wasn’t the case at all as everything had been ‘freshly bought and cooked’.
“I watched them preparing all the veg and potatoes,” she explained. “They even have an air fryer. Not a drop of grease in sight.”
The folk behind Not Just Baps also replied, asking: “How can a roast dinner give you a heart attack... unless the excitement of waiting to eat it.”

They later took to their own Facebook account to share a screenshot of the exchange, defending their product proudly.
“Would you consider a roast dinner ‘Heart Attack Food’?” they wrote.
“There’s lovely fresh veg under all that meat so I’d say it’s a lot healthier than other meals but what are your thoughts?”
Needless to say, many of their loyal fans agreed there was ‘nothing bad’ in the roast dinners served from the van, labelling the bizarre backlash the ‘most ridiculous comment ever’.

“It was beautiful home cooked dinner,” one person commented, pointing out it was also a great option for ‘people on their own’.
Another added: “Why would anyone be so nasty. I had my first roast dinner from here yesterday. It was all freshly cooked in front of me. Lots of fresh veg. It was delicious. I would just block her from seeing any of your posts.”
Not Just Baps owner Lisa Hope told Bracknell News that she found it hard to understand the issue with her roast dinners, which have proved so popular that she's started to serve them mid-week.

"I could understand if someone was commenting on a full English breakfast, that would be fair enough," she said.
"But the fresh vegetables are from Hardwickes in Sandhurst which is a little family run greengrocer, and that was just hidden under the meat."
