After becoming the generation known to abbreviate everything, Gen Z have already decided what the Paralympics will be called.
It's almost impossible to keep up with the amount of abbreviations that Gen Z create, some would go as far as to they there's a new language being born.
And a new study has revealed that most people over the age of 50 don’t have a clue about the new phrases that are being curated by younger generations.

Research by holiday company Evan Evans, has found that it's even making it harder for people to learn the English language.
The research also shows that 27% of people believe that it could be very confusing for tourists.
So let's break down a couple of the best...
We all remember the Panny D
You know, the year-long lockdown we all experienced, limiting where we could go because of a potentially deathly virus.

You might know it as the Covid 19 pandemic, but for Gen Z, it's the Panny D.
They tend to create the abbreviations to mark big historical events, and this was definitely one to remember.
How often do you have a Jackie P?
No two guesses as to what this could be referring to, after we love nothing more than a good jacket potato with cheese and beans melted to the core.

However, if you have a friend called Jackie, whose last name begins with a P, this could become one to avoid.
Did you vote in the Genny Lec?
Another monumental event that Gen Z lived through, but, of course, had to find a way to make it a little more fun.

People were being encouraged to vote all over social media, and the Genny Lec became a trendy thing to be apart of.
Are you looking forward to the Banny Hols?
This is a bit of a stretch, and I'm sure there's a better abbreviation for this if they really thought about it.
But Bank Holidays have become Banny Hols according to our younger lot, and to be honest, it's not as great as the others.
How's the Cozzie Livs affecting you?
There's something quite wholesome about trying to find some kind of light in the midst of a cost of living crisis, and what better way to do it than give it a little re-brand.

Will you be watching the Parrie Limps?
This one is definitely debatable, because should we really be abbreviating the Paralympics to Parrie Limps?
Some things are better left without an abbreviation, and we kind of think that's one of those things.
Kayon Hibbert, Guide Manager of Evan Evans, said: "Brits have always loved a good abbreviation - the challenge for tourists who don’t live here, and clearly lots of people who do, is to keep up with the latest words and phrases popularised by influencers on social media.”
