One mum from across the pond has been left well and truly stunned after footage from her home security camera appeared to capture the ghost of her late son.

The US-hailing woman, Ms Hodge, claims the footage revealed the spirit of her son Robbie who died two years prior to the shocking discovery.

The mum alleged she was totally astonished when she checked the cameras only to find a a transparent male figure in her kitchen that seemingly resembled her deceased son.

Robbie tragically passed away at just 23 years old back in 2016 following what is believed to have been an accidental drug overdose of fake Xanax.

Ms Hodge explained that she and her son were previously working together to set up a charity with an aim of tackling addiction prior to his untimely death.

She said: "Robbie was a great kid. He had an addiction and we thought for sure it had to be heroin when he passed away.

"But the only thing that we could track down is where he was buying Xanax."

The mum continued: "He and I together had started a charity before he died and it was to turn real estate into a way of saving lives and stopping addiction.

"We'd won national and local awards for it. He used to try and help other people when he was in need of help too."

So, it was no wonder that Ms Hodge was left 'freaking out' when she saw the apparition back in 2018.

She revealed: "It's just insane - I'm blown away. It's just crazy.

The mum said the alleged ghost looked 'just like' her deceased son.

"I was laying in bed watching TV with my daughter and I was just about asleep. The phone was lay between us and I got this message notification saying someone was in the kitchen."

The mother's daughter exclaimed: "Mum, there's a person in the kitchen... Mum, that's Robbie!"

Ms Hodge said she was absolutely 'stunned' when she saw the footage for herself, adding: "And it did look just like him - beard and all."

She resolved: "That brings me some comfort, but I still just think it's weird. I'm in awe - why did this happen to me? I haven't seen anything since and I had never seen a ghost before.

"Does it look like Robbie? Yes. I would love to see anybody else's camera where people might look transparent. This is just weird."

The mum declared that she has since taken the alleged ghost sighting as a sign her son is 'happy in heaven'.
