Organisational life hacks should never be neglected or ignored, with some viral tips and tricks often saving families around the world both time and money.
And what better time to instal some handy hacks into your life than the festive season?
One TikTok using mother has this year taken it upon herself to reveal not one, but FIVE tricks she uses at Christmas to bring a smile to her children's faces.
Macy Blackwell, a style, home-wear and lifestyle vlogger with an impressive TikTok following of 1.9 million, has revealed how she's able to create the illusion of a colossal mound of Christmas presents, just by using wrapping paper and organising them a certain way around the tree.

"Here's how to make it look like there's more under the tree," she wrote on the viral video, which has accumulated a staggering 220,000+ likes.
Macy instructed viewers: "Use largest boxes to block off the view of the sides and the back of the tree.
"Use different types of paper, and mix them together to visually break it up."

She then added: "Never stack! Always lean them up next to each other to take up more surface area."
She then advised her audience: "Wrap things in as many boxes as you can.
"Instead of buying a ton of gift boxes, use the ones your deliveries come in.

"Don't overfill stockings. Put whatever fits comfortably, and anything left over sit out beside the stocking."
The social media star then confessed: "I've used these methods for the last 8 years to make the most out of what gifts we had that year."
While one skeptic asked in the comments, "WHY DOES IT MATTER??????", the majority of Macy's followers quickly flooded to support her nifty parenting hack.

"'Why does it matter?' Have you ever seen your child's face light up when the tree is FULL of gifts & they see real life Christmas magic? That's why," one fan was quick to defend her.
Another added: "[There are] mothers out there that probably feel guilty that they can't get their kids the gifts they wanted, so she's just helping."
"I'm confused by the comments... why WOULDNT you want it to look like more?" a fourth continued.
