Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé has made a pretty decent living for himself as the 'Living Nostradamus'.
So much so, that a startling four of his highly-detailed predictions for the year 2024 have apparently already come true - and it's only October.
For those unfamiliar with the headline-hitting seer, Salomé's pseudonym comes from the late 16th century philosopher and astrologer of the same name, who himself gave his followers several chilling predictions about the future of our planet throughout his life.

This 'OG' guru supposedly predicted the likes of Adolf Hitler’s dreaded rise to power, the shock assassination of John F. Kennedy and the harrowing 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Self-proclaimed modern-day Nostradamus Salomé has since stepped into his shoes and made several predictions about the human race - examples being the Covid-19 pandemic and the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
As we say, however, Salomé is famed for several of his shocking predictions of our world having come true - four of which occurred previously this year alone.

Ahead of 2024 New Year's Eve, the supposed psychic jotted down several phenomena he believed we would experience over the course of the following 12 months.
And eerily, he claims four have already occurred, leading his followers to worry what could possibly be in store for us next...
1) World War III
I know - it's a pretty broad prediction based on the subjectivity of the word 'war', but you could definitely argue that he was pretty bang on when you think about the devastation currently unfolding in the Middle East, as well as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

He emphasised at the time, however, that the most prominent tensions will likely occur between China and the US, and will probably be cyber-based.
Looking back on his prediction recently, he reflected: "This was prophetic and in 2024 it became so real when the prediction was made.
"This regional tension is a reflection of my words and brings out the point that territorial issues are a reason for big world wars.
"As China ramps up its military build-up and as all the military muscles flex in the Pacific by the United States and its allies the situation is getting more and more volatile."

2) Natural disasters
Speaking to the press last year, Salomé predicted the severity of some natural disasters would be ramped up, specifically in cases of typhoons in Asia.
Having estimated at the time that the most affected areas would be the Philippines, Vietnam and some regions of China, he now believes he's right.

Salomé has since commented: "In September of 2024 real events supported these expectations with typhoon Yagi, which affected and brought a large amount of damages to these parts of the world.
"The typhoon had winds in excess of 93mph causing devastating floods and landslides with casualties and major destruction of structures. I said that more and worse cases of the event would occur, and going by the observed natural disasters this year, I was right.
"The increase of these events deepens the discussion on climate change and the poor readiness of countries for the consequences of climate change."
3) Space race
Last year, Salomé shared that an asteroid 'abundant in rich materials' would trigger a new space race, which he reckons isn’t far off what really happened.
Salomé said: "In September of 2024, an asteroid unexpected by NASA, approximately one metre in diameter, disintegrated in the atmosphere over the Philippines, taking everyone by surprise, highlighting advances in the ability to monitor small celestial bodies close to Earth.
"Although the event didn’t pose a threat, the growing attention to space objects reflects my prediction of a new era of space exploration and competition.
"This race to discover cosmic secrets could easily turn into an arena of geopolitical rivalry, as I predicted."
4) New tech
Back in February this year, Salomé predicted vast new developments in technology in terms of Apple products in particular and in the realm of virtual reality.
In fact, he was pretty specific about the new Apple Vision Pro headset allowing the user to reach different dimensions in tech.
Now, he points out: "This is not just a prediction but is happening with the release of Hauntify, a mixed-reality app that appeals to a user’s fear sensors to create a paranormal experience.
"Hauntify is an excellent example of the real-to-virtual experience, which allows users to get into places with something of the spooky world.
"Using camera and microphone, this app makes apparent that one is merely pretending to be spiritual which gives a combo of humour and technology experience.
"My vision is something that can also be seen in the concept of Hauntify, which is the reshaping of the common perception of reality."
