Man says he'll have to pay thousands as influencers keep posing outside his house

Ex-fashion designer Peter Lee, 77, regularly has families, influencers and even ballerinas taking photos outside his property.

A grandfather says he'll have to pay thousands of pounds worth in repairs after his pastel pink London home has become a hotspot for influencers having photoshoots and posing for snaps.

Ex-fashion designer Peter Lee, 77, regularly has families, influencers and even ballerinas taking photos outside his property in west London.

You can see how busy the doorstep gets below:

He says the popularity of the spot will cost him in repair bills, including thousands to replace cracked tiles.

Lee suspects the cracks are caused by visitors performing elaborate acrobatics to get the perfect shot, many of which have been caught on his doorbell camera.

For example, one person held herself up on Mr Lee's railings before doing the splits in the air. Meanwhile others stay for hours, with a nearby ballet school becoming regulars.

Lee said: "I don't know what they're doing, blogs on their websites?

"One girl was sat out there for half a day on her own. She put her phone in the middle of the street, took photos of herself against the house and then ran back to grab the phone when a car came.

"I normally just watch them on the screen, but I had to go down and say 'did you get what you wanted? You've been out there for half the day.'"

Mr Lee's house is very popular.

Lee continued: "There are some outside right now, I wish you could see them, there's a whole family having their photos taken on my top step."

One group of models even left a bag of clothes outside Mr Lee's garage, which he gave to his granddaughter.

He said: "They were nice clothes, I gave them to my granddaughter, she was quite happy to receive them, they were too good to give to the charity shop."

Mr Lee says the popularity of the spot is costing him in repair bills, including thousands spent to replace cracked tiles.

But Lee is concerned about the cost of repairing the damage, explaining it's becoming a problem.

He explained: "Girls with high heels are probably causing damage to the steps - I did see one girl in heels jumping up and down flinging her arms up in the air.

"I was watching from the living room and thought that stupid girl is going to be damaging my tiles - I went outside afterwards and saw two tiles were cracked.

"These tiles should last a lifetime. It's going to cost thousands of pounds to replace the steps, and I can't get the old fashioned tiles. The modern version of the tiles are so thin, they look rubbish. And it's still £2,500 to do 10 steps."

The beautiful two-bedroom property is surrounded by black railings and tiles leading up to the front door.

Former Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead was one of the many to pose outside Mr Lee's immaculate front doorstep, in what looks like a professional photoshoot.

"My granddaughter saw the picture and said she was famous," Lee said.

"But they didn't ask permission to take the photographs."

Neighbours of Mr Lee suggested he puts a charity collection box outside.

Tyla has reached out to a rep for Binky for comment.
