With his unique breeding, Okami has now been sold for a whopping $5.7 million and has a new life in India.
Okami's new owner, who goes by S Sathish, has explained why he spent so much to earn such a rare breed.
He explained to The Sun: "I spent 50 million rupees on buying this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique dogs and introduce them to India. "
He added: "I spent money on these dogs because they are rare. Besides, I get enough money because people are always curious to see them. They take selfies and pictures. My dog and I get more attention than an actor at a movie screening, we both are crowd-pullers."
This isn't the only rare breed Sathish owns, as he also owns owns a rare chow chow which he bought for $3.25 million that he bought last year.
For Okami, he's become not just an internet sensation but a real life one too, as now he's home in India people have been excited to see him. Videos of him at a film premiere and on the red carpet have seen him rack up over three million views.

For Sathish's dogs, both Okami and others, the dog's life is a nice one as he revealed they live on a seven-acre farm where each has a 20ft by 20ft room as their kennel. He explained: "There is enough space for them to walk and run. There are six people to look after them.
"They don’t need air conditioner as the weather in the city is cool but they are well taken care of."
