A mum of twins has been left worrying that her children will get mocked after she accidentally gave them the same names as two TV characters.
Given that it's our parents who choose our names, it's hard to imagine them ever regretting the decision - no matter what we might think of it ourselves.
I'm sure we've all heard the alternative contenders for our names and wondered what life could have been like if our parents had gone a different way, but one mum has admitted that she's considering changing her children's names just months after welcoming them to the world.

In an anonymous post on Mumsnet, the mum explained she had been taking the strong painkiller Tramadol after giving birth, and that she felt 'rushed' into deciding on names for her two kids.
She'd settled on the names Charlie for her son, and Lola for her daughter - though she now acknowledges the fact that Charlie and Lola are characters in an animated series which some might remember from CBeebies.
"I needed some advice, I have twins which I named Charlie (boy) and Lola. Don't get me wrong I love both the names but I feel like I made the wrong decision and I always get awkward reactions when people ask," the mum wrote.

As she hadn't officially registered her children's names at the time of writing, she explained that she was feeling 'under pressure' to make a decision on the names before they became official.
"If I do change a name it will be from Lola to Lila, so only one letter different and not too confusing for anyone, including the baby," she explained.
In a comment added under the post, the Mumsnet user revealed that her partner thinks she is 'being ridiculous', but that she can't help worrying 'about them being laughed at because of the program Charlie and Lola'.

"I'm the one who spends more time with other parents and children and I always dread people's reactions when they ask their names," she added.
Thankfully the mum received a lot of support from kind internet users, some of who pointed out that the 'fictional Charlie and Lola are lovely', while others claimed that no one would remember the characters by the time the twins were in school.
As names go, I think it's safe to say there are much worse characters the twins could have been named after!
