A new mum says she was ‘shamed’ in the gym by another woman who told her she was showing too much cleavage and her ‘boobs were hanging out’.
Kylen Suttner, 21, was doing a chest press at the gym when she was approached by a fellow gym-goer who was not impressed with how she was dressed. You can see how it played out here:
After approaching Kylen, the busybody… sorry, woman, asked: "Do you really think you can walk around the gym wearing that?

“We’re in a public place, can you be respectful? No one wants to look at your boobs hanging out.”
Despite being shocked by the woman’s comments, Kylen - who was wearing a blue sports bra for her workout session - said: “I’m fine thanks.”
Following which the woman walked off - hopefully to go and mind her own business.
Kylen, who gave birth to her son Suede in December 2022, from Ogden, Utah, said: “I was doing chest presses and just sitting there.

“I don’t know why she singled me out because there were other people in the gym wearing way more revealing clothes.
“Maybe her boyfriend was staring at me or something and it got her triggered, I don’t know.
“But I was just sitting there and she came up to me and said it. It was weird.

“I was just a little frozen like ‘wait, did that just happen?’ It didn’t make me feel sad really – I was just beating myself up for not standing up for myself more.
“I felt like I was way more modest than I usually am. If that was ever to happen to me I wouldn’t have thought it would happen when I was wearing what I was wearing.
“I often wear low-cut tops and shorts but I was only wearing leggings and a top that showed a little bit of cleavage. I usually show way more.
“But I’ve not stopped going. I would never let something like that stop me from going to the gym or wearing what I want.”

Kylen has since hit out at the anonymous woman and says she won’t let her comments put her off completing a challenge she set herself to visit the gym every day for 75 days.
She has been going to the gym four or five times a week for two years and runs a successful Instagram page about her health and fitness journey.
She said: “I've always liked fitness a lot and I saw other girls starting little Instagram pages for fitness content and I just one day was like, ‘You know what, I'm gonna do it’ not really thinking anything of it.

“And then it blew up, I started taking money from it and I was like, ‘Oh, this can actually be my job’.
“I think everybody should be involved in some sort of active lifestyle and eating healthy is just a given.”
