Lindsay Lohan has given birth to a baby boy, her first child with husband Bader Shammas, who she married in April last year after getting engaged a few months beforehand.
A rep for Lohan, 36, confirmed to People that the couple have named their son Luai - an Arabic name meaning 'shield or protector' - and that he was born in Dubai.

The rep said in a statement: "Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love."

A month after sharing the news that she was expecting, the Mean Girls star posted a carousel of snaps from her baby shower, where she was able to celebrate her journey to motherhood with her loved ones.
“Good times,” Lohan said, adding: “So grateful for all the wonderful people in my life!”
The first picture showed her cradling her baby bump while wearing a long-sleeved white dress, while in the next few photos she wore a tasselled orange dress.

Posing for pics and selfies were her close pals and family members, including her sister Aliana Lohan and mum Dina Lohan.
Lohan and Shammas got engaged in November 2021 after three years of dating.
The following July, a representative for the couple confirmed they were married after she referred to him as her ‘husband’ in a birthday post on Instagram, with it later transpiring they’d tied the knot in April 2022.

Speaking to Allure, Lohan revealed she suspected she was pregnant while in New York doing press for Falling for Christmas.
The day before she was set to return to Dubai, where she lives, she was with her mum Dina when she noticed something was different.
“I think I might be pregnant,” Lohan told her mother.

Back in Dubai, she took a positive test and walked into the next room to tell Shammas.
“It was so unexciting,” Lohan recalled, giggling. “I walked into the room, I threw the test down. I was like, ‘Guess what?’ He goes, ‘We are?’”
Lohan added: “I can't wait to see what the feeling is and what it's like to just be a mom.”
The actor and singer said she had always felt maternal, and that lately she’d been crying a lot after being moved to tears by simple gestures – quick to point out they were ‘happy tears’.
“That's just who I am,” she said. “Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming... in a good way.”
