A mum was left on the brink of tears after her ‘psycho’ toddler ruined their family holiday, saying it had been ‘horrible to watch’ as she shared a message to other parents who might be in the same boat.
Toddlers are notoriously tricky to deal with, given they’re old enough to know what’s going on but still to young to reason with.
God forbid you cut up their toast the wrong way, give them ice cream that’s TOO COLD or deny them the chance to throw that rock at their sibling.

It’s a minefield out there – as one influencer knows all too well after a recent battle with their little one.
Keep it Cleaner founder Steph Claire Smith posted a video on Instagram because she wanted to be transparent with others about the ups and downs of parenting, having been facing difficulties with two-and-half-year-old son Harvey.
She asked: “Is your toddler currently in a phase where they like one parent more than the other? Or they're being nice to one parent and then mean to another?

“Because at the moment Josh is absolutely copping it. Harvey doesn't want a bar of him and it's quite horrible to watch, and it's been exhausting this holiday."
Stephanie said it felt ‘really heartbreaking’ and ‘exhausting’, as she’d really been looking forward to enjoying ‘beautiful family time’ on her holiday with Harvey and husband Josh.
“We’re, like, not even able to be together,” she said.
“Because as soon as we’re in the same room, Harvey’s just horrible to Josh – like, actually horrible.

“So it’s been really hard and exhausting.”
Steph said she didn’t want to seem ‘ungrateful’, as she knew it was ‘special’ being able to spend so much time with her family, but added: “At the same time it's, yeah, it's been hard to deal with."
She went on to say she was sharing her thoughts in detail because she didn’t want to seem like she wasn’t grateful, knowing they were lucky to be away together – and that she wanted to give insight to what’s going on behind the ‘cute’ pictures on Instagram.

“It’s been amazing, and really needed, this break,” Steph said.
“I suppose I wanted to share it in case there was any other families that were going through the same thing.
“You know, holidays aren't the same anymore. It doesn't mean that they're not special, they're just not the same, they're different to how they used to be.”

In a final clip, she added: "All toddlers are the same... They're all psychos!”
