A mum has been praised for her handy hack that makes life a lot easier for families with more than one child.
As those who have two or more kids will know, when it comes to arguing, siblings can turn into an art form. Whether it's a disagreements over who gets to sit where in the car, what they’re watching on TV or just about everything in between, no topic is too trivial to kick off World War Three.
However, mum Kellie Henry, who hosts the The Marriage Comeback podcast, has shared her genius tip to making days run a little more smoothly.

In a post on TikTok, Kellie explained: “If you have kids who fight over where they sit in the car and it gets super annoying and you try to remember who sat where and how to keep it fair - this might help you.
“So I’ve just assigned my kids a day of the week. I have four of them, we go youngest to oldest Monday through Thursday.
“On their day, they have extra responsibilities but they also get special treatment. So, on their day they know that they have to empty the dishwasher, they have to take out the trash, they have to feed the dog; anything around the house I might need extra help that day, they have to help me.

“But they also know that they get special treatment. They get to choose where they sit in the car that day, they get to say the family prayer, they get to help me choose what we’re making for dinner that night. If there’s a discrepancy over what we’re watching on TV, they win - whoever's day it is they are the king or queen of the day.”
Extra help around the house and fewer arguments? Sounds like the dream - and it seems as though other parents agree, with one person replying: “Most mom hacks haven’t been useful to me, or I already knew of. This one is a GAME CHANGER! I can’t wait to implement it.”
Another wrote: “I LOVE YOU! THANK YOU! I have four too and this is going to save my stress… you have no idea what you've done for my family!”

While someone else added: “It’s a good lesson too! Responsibility comes with certain privileges — privileges are earned..”
However, some reckoned their little darlings might be a bit too switched on.
“My third child would have had a spreadsheet for evidence that child A rode 18 miles to the store in the front seat while he only rode 9,” joked one mum.
