Now this is a date to remember.

Dating is definitely a minefield at the moment, with new dating trends like snowstorming and tinselling popping up in time for the festive period.

So it's understandable why Jade Magner described herself as in her 'anti-man era' after breaking up with the dad of her two children.
But all that was about to change after she met Jay Carlin.
The 29-year-old has revealed that Jay, 31, reminded her that romance isn't dead and 'restored her faith in men'.

After Jade sent him a screenshot of her tickets for a solo break to Italy she was planning, he booked a flight for himself and turned it into a 24-hour date.
Jade, who lives in Wirral, Merseyside, explained: "I just randomly one day booked myself a return flight for one night in Milan, and in conversation I told Jay.
"He replied saying 'might join you', so I followed up with 'I dare you too'.
"I was made up when he said he was coming to be honest."

The new couple enjoyed all of the wonders Milan has to offer, including dinner in front of the cathedral, and an evening trip to the QC Termemilano spa.
She continued: "It was really romantic. It was the first time when I thought 'Oh I really, really like him'.
"I'd not been going on any dates before Jay. He was my first since I split with the kid's dad. I was in my 'anti-men era' to be honest.

"He restored my faith in men."
The trip cost less than £150 each, including the flights, the hotel, the 'twilight experience' at the spa, and a trip to the cathedral the next day.
Jade said: "The funny thing was Jay hadn't even told anyone he was going on a date to Milan until we landed, whereas I had told all my friends.

"He randomly sent a photo to his family group chat as we were eating our first meal there.
"As soon as he sent it his brother and sister were both texting him saying 'Oh my god!' and 'who are you with?' and all this.
They repeated the experience with a trip to Rome for 48 hours to get even 'closer' and the couple are now in a relationship with each other.
How romantic!
