Alright guys, it's happening, No Nut November is just around the corner once again.
In case of you've never even heard of the concept, No Nut November (or NNN for short) is a social media challenge which sees men try to abstain from ejaculating for the entire month of November.
That's 720 hours without having a single orgasm, something which some do simply to challenge themselves physically while others get involved for the alleged mental and spiritual health benefits.

However, there's not much actually reliable scientific evidence to support such claims.
Women and No Nut November
On the 'Ask Women' thread on Reddit, one person asked: "Why is there no such thing like No Nut November for woman?"

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for people to share their two cents on the matter with one hitting out: "Because we have more important things to worry about than whether or not we can make it a whole month without fondling ourselves."
"Because we think it's ridiculous to boast about a non-wanking competition. Also, why on earth would I want to deprive myself of orgasms for a month?" echoed a second.
A third pointed out: "Women aren't addicted to porn or masturbating at nearly the rate that men are so it's not necessary to challenge ourselves against it."

The orgasm gap
Getting into the nitty-gritty, a fourth stated: "Many women have gone years without a single orgasm. A month is child's play."
"No truer words…" agreed a fifth, while another noted: "Wdym it's No Nut Ever for a high percentage of women.

"They should dedicate a month to men learning how to please women properly."
Preach.
And a final Reddit user echoed: "If we did the orgasm gap would get so much worse babe.

Unfortunately, this isn't just an opinion - this is actually true as one study found that the orgasm gap - AKA the frequency of orgasm between cisgender men and women during heterosexual intercourse - is pretty high.
Research conducted by Durex earlier this year, which surveyed 2,000 UK adults, found that women are having four times fewer orgasms than men.
And the gap isn't just during sex - it's also during masturbation too.durex four
Other research found that men tend to masturbate 140 times a year, or 2.6 times a week, while women masturbate an average of 53 times a year.
That works out at about just once a week.
This means that the global orgasm gap is a staggering 62 percent - and it's even higher here in the UK at 66 percent!
Let's close that gap, gals!
