Let’s admit it. Lots of us have been there… had the sneaky suspicion our partners may have wandering eyes - or worse, full on cheating.
The lucky among us will have found out our gut instincts were wrong. The not so lucky… sob.
If only there was a way to make sure we were barking up the right tree before confronting them, or just ghosting entirely.

Well, one woman reckons she has the answers, with her handy trick having gone viral on TikTok.
Fiona Shea, the cheating whisperer in question, took to TikTok to share her wisdom on how to spot the signs of ‘cheater energy’.
“They’re ‘DTC’, that’s what I like to say”, she explains. “Down to cheat.”

The signs are if the man either follows a lot of women he doesn't know - especially women with fitness accounts - or if he follows every woman he's ever interacted with.
Shea explained: “The woman who serves him at the taco truck - he's following her. Normal gals, but tons. If they've spoken, if they've crossed paths, he's got her Instagram.”

They are Fiona's pearls of wisdom, but I regret to inform you signs of cheating don't end there. In fact, it seems it barely scratches the surface – as many commenters were quick to point out.
Does your partner have a lack of social media? Is he incredibly popular? Maybe you should be getting worried..

“The men with zero social media you should be REALLY afraid of”, one wrote.
Another added: “Guys with tons of friends are also DTC.”
A third simply stated: “It’s all of them. Hope this helps.”
Meanwhile, one dating coach has warned about a bizarre trend called 'micro cheating'.

Expert Hayley Quinn told TYLA that 'micro-cheating' differs from 'regular' cheating because it 'walks the line between what would be classified as cheating'.
"It's often about using technology to gain attention from other people without crossing any physical boundaries," the expert notes.
So, to simplify it even further - 'regular' cheating may involve going on a date behind your partner's back, whereas 'micro-cheating' could be flirting with a stranger, then giving them your phone number, but not following up.
Hayley summarises: "Regular cheating probably involves you meeting someone IRL for physical contact, whilst micro-cheating could be sliding your ex a dm on Instagram to 'see how they are.'"
