A batch of online shoppers have been left in stitches this week after noticing a rather amusing fail in one of Shein's social media advertisements.
For those unfamiliar with the online fast-fashion retailer - which often hits the headlines for its controversial antics - the Gen-Z favoured business is one of the quickest-growing apparel brands on the planet, and is known for being involved in various trademark disputes and class action lawsuits.

Today, however, the budget-friendly clothing retailer has hit the headlines for another reason entirely after shoppers noticed something rather unusual about one of the company's Instagram adverts.
After a snap promoting a pair of 'Minimalist two-part slide sandals' was uploaded to the brand's official social media site, viewers claimed their eyes couldn't help but be drawn to the model's questionable pedicure.

And in all honestly, we can't blame them, as each toe is topped by what appears to be a tiny white screen.
The image was subsequently shared on TikTok, where hundreds of users have since shared their amusement.
"WHY DOES IT LOOK AI GENARATED" one penned in the comments.
Another went on to guess: "Maybe its just some paper"

"Maybe they just really bad acrylics" a third continued.
"SCREAMING LMAO" added another.
If that wasn't enough, just this week, the fashion site found itself in hot water again after an alleged customer - known by her TikTok handle @emperkyxxxx - announced an apparent issue with her latest purchase.
In the video, the woman showed the outside of a faux leather purse before opening it up.

Inside, the social media star showed off the fact she had been forced to cut into the purse to reveal its cardboard lining.
She allegedly discovered that the lining of her crocodile print wallet had been made out of a bright orange COVID-19 testing kit.
Over the top of the viral video, which has since amassed over 1.3 million likes, she wrote: "POV: your card gets stuck in the purse you brought from Shein so you have to rip it and you find out it’s made out of a COVID testing kit box."

Alongside the clip, @emperkyxxxx added: "caught me off guard @SHEIN recycling slay."
And even earlier this year, the fast-fashion giant revealed it had launched an investigation after a woman found a ‘vial of blood’ in her order.
23-year-old Anna Elliot from Tennessee was ‘left in tears’ over the discovery due to having a ‘life-long major phobia’ of blood.
“At first I was trying not to panic because I thought maybe it was a joke or maybe they had fake blood vials for Halloween and somehow it ended up in my bag,” she said in a TikTok video.
"But then I realised it was from an actual lab and it was real and I really panicked."
Oh, Shein...
