While weddings are suppose to be the most wonderful and magical day possible, they can certainly cause a lot of stress and strong opinions.
Whether that is the choosing of bridesmaids, the cake, or the dress, there is a lot to consider when comes to the big day.
And if you post parts of that big day to social media, then you'll likely have a lot of opinions coming your way. This is the internet after all.

Back in March, Lauren Candy, who posts videos on TikTok as @laurencandy3, uploaded a short video of the 'perfect' outfit to wear as a wedding guest.
She modelled the sage green-coloured ASOS DESIGN Bridesmaid cami embellished midi dress which she named ‘quite possibly the most beautiful wedding guest dress ever’.
The outfit is certainly a perfect choice for the summer, with a midi-length tiered skirt and floral embroidery. It will set you back £110 though, should you add it to your basket.

While Lauren thought it was the perfect wedding guest dress, she sparked a furious debate about appropriate dresses for wedding guests, with the ASOS dress at the centre of the fury.
Many TikTok commenters pointed out that the dress looked white on camera and that colour is usually reserved for the bride according to general wedding dress code etiquette.
And let's not forget, the internet's reaction when someone who isn't a bride decides to wear white to a wedding.

Lauren’s comments section were up in arms over the garment, with some users seemingly reviving the viral #bluedress #golddress debate from 2015 except this time the colours were green versus white.
One woman commented: “If there’s a chance that it looks white on camera it’s a no go!”
But a second added: "But it doesn’t look white. This is clearly green.”
The TikToker in question has since responded to the all the comments that have come her way in the viral video.

In a follow-up TikTok, Lauren says: "This dress seems to be stirring up a fair bit of controversy."
She then positioned the green dress next to a white top, and you can clearly see the wedding dress is indeed green.
"It's clearly green," Lauren adds.

"Personally if someone wore it at my wedding, I would be telling them how beautiful they are and if I can borrow it."
Many flocked to the comment section of the video to defend Lauren and the dress.
One person wrote: "People are wilding! This dress is absolutely gorgeous and I would be so excited to see my guests this pretty on my wedding day!!!"
Meanwhile, a second added: "Ohhh wow this looks so different than the other video! The first vid was really deceiving colour wise."
