Getting a Brazilian wax is definitely one of the more - ahem - intimate beauty procedures you can get done in a salon.
Now, in case you needed some brushing up on your beauty treatments lingo, this particular hair removal treatment takes off most or all of your pubic hair so you can imagine your waxer has to get pretty acclimatised to what's going on down there.
And one woman clearly found this out the hard way as she received a seriously unexpected text after getting her first-ever Brazilian wax, which left her beyond stunned.
Sarah Button, who hails from Australia, took to social media to open up about the ordeal which saw the waxer start off by calling the 27-year-old a term of endearment 'hun' before dropping the major bombshell as to why she would be charging her as much as $10 more for her next appointment.

Screenshots from the text message exchange showed Sarah responding 'no worries' but it's clear that, since then, she is far from A-OK with the treatment she received.
Sarah, who has previously shared on her social media accounts that she has a 'fatty upper pubic area', told Tyla exactly how she felt about the situation and it's made her hesitant to ever book a wax again in the future.
Opening up about the actual appointment itself and whether she felt any judgment during the wax, Sarah assured that it was 'fine' and that the waxer was 'really nice'.
Sarah Button, 27, has opened up about her less than ideal Brazilian wax ordeal (Sarah Button) "The whole appointment was super chill. I can usually sense when something is wrong and I didn’t have an inkling now I’m questioning myself even more," she added.
Sarah explained that, after receiving the alarming text, she and the waxer had a 'phone call' after she told her younger sister about what had happened.
"We had a phone call because I told my little sister and my sister ripped her a new one so she did call me to ask when I’d like to book again and that it was a misunderstanding," Sarah recalled, before adding: "Like as if it’s a misunderstanding though? I said no and hung up."
We asked Sarah if she agreed with the waxer's reasoning for asking her to pay more for the service, to which she told Tyla: "I don’t agree with the reasoning because it wasn’t told to me when making a deposit or attending the actual appointment.
The text in question (Sarah Button) "I’m sure I can see some logic in the comments I’m getting that more product costs more but that should be reflected in pricing to begin with if that’s the case.
"Also, it’s just a bit rude. It really did hurt my feelings."
Understandably, the situation has put Sarah off going for a wax in the future as she shared: "It took me a lot to talk myself into it in the first place as I was worried about the awkwardness of just like the positions involved and all of that.
"I told myself it was all in my head now I have new fears. Reverted straight back to my sugar wax and razor."
