A young mum was left heartbroken after claiming only two of 30 invited children showed up to her son's eighth birthday party.
Mum Karla threw her son a birthday party at US children's restaurant Chuck E Cheese, but the young boy's excitement was soon dashed when he realised that his classmates weren't going to show up.
In an unusual call, the mum decided to document her son's devastating experience and share it on TikTok, in a video that has now racked up 11.9 million views.
In a video of one of her son's worst moments, mum Karla wrote: "Imagine turning 8 and inviting the whole class only for them not to show up."

The mum films her sitting at the table in the restaurant and nervously looking around, adding the caption: "Anxiously waiting for his little friends to show up."
She went on to explain that her child's birthday party was due to run from 4:00pm to 6:00pm - but by 5:00pm, no one had arrived.
The parents ordered food for their three children while they waited for guests to show up, and eventually, two out of the 30 invited children came along.
Karla wrapped up the video by filming her husband giving out party bags made for their guests to other Chuck E Cheese customers.

"This is why I don’t wanna do class parties for my kids," wrote one viewer. "I’d rather spoil them with a day of just us doing whatever they want than have this heartbreak."
A second commented: "My heart is actually broken... crying... I’m so sorry."

Another comment read: "Unfortunately this is why I stopped throwing parties for my kids... no one ever showed up and I got tired of watching my kids cry because of that."
Reaching out to the mum, one TikToker assured her: "Let him know 1.4 million people wouldve LOVED to show up. Happy birthday big guy."
Another even suggested that the mum posted an Amazon wish list for her son, so emotional viewers could buy him birthday presents.

By the looks of things, mum Karla did set up an Amazon wish list for a short while, but took it down after her son was sent 'too many' presents.
In the comment section, she wrote: "Thank you to everyone who purchased him something, I deleted the list, I don’t want to get 'too many' a few is more than enough for him."
