Choosing a baby name can be tricky - especially when you and your partner have totally different name preferences.
But one woman on Mumsnet has been called 'embarrassing and cruel' after she shared her favourite name with other users online.

Taking to the parenting forum, the woman explained that her husband couldn't think of any names for their unborn daughter.
She said she had thought of 'a few' she liked, but her favourite name was a total no-no for her husband, who called it 'embarrassing'.
"I’m pregnant. DH has said he 'can’t think' of any names for DD. I’ve thought of a few and really like ‘Ocean’ but DH is saying it’s an 'embarrassing' name but he hasn’t suggest any names himself for DD," the woman explained.
But other Mumsnet users didn't have much sympathy for the mum, with hundreds of comments from parents voicing their opinions.

One person wrote: "It's awful, sorry. It's not even a name, it's a word."
While another said: "Try to imagine introducing yourself as an adult as Ocean. It’s cruel to a child & ridiculous and embarrassing for an adult!"
And a third added: "I was at the supermarket & there was a little girl called Ocean, I know this as it was being shouted often & loudly by the parents. Honestly, I thought it was ridiculous!"

While a fourth said: "Cue a lifetime of wave related jokes."
Others, meanwhile, were more open to the name, with many admitting they knew quite a few people called Ocean.
"I know a now teenage girl who’s called Ocean and it’s lovely," said one.
While another added: "I really like it and don't actually think it's ridiculously out there."

"Call your baby what you like and don’t ask mumsnet," advised a third.
Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "I don't think it's 'out there' at all. Nature names are quite popular. Not my taste but it would be boring if we all had the same names!"
What do you think of the name?

Last month, we told you how one Mumsnet user had taken to the forum for advice, after admitting she hated being a mum and regretted having a baby.
Writing on the parenting forum, the mum gave followers a rundown of her daily routine, while balancing work with motherhood.
The mum did not state how old her baby is, but plenty of other parents rushed to the comments with suggestions and advice.
