A mum was left more than a little embarrassed after her 10-year-old daughter brought a card home from school that read ‘you love VODKA girl’.
What’s worse, the teachers had even helped her make it, cutting out a piece of material shaped like a vodka bottle, as well as huge letters on the front that said ‘I LOVE VODKA’.
30-year-old Jordanna Jones did eventually see the funny side, but called her daughter’s efforts the ‘sassiest card ever’ and said that it even came up for discussion at parents’ evening.

The artist behind this incredible creation was Jaelyn Jones, who made the card for her mum at school.
And as you can see, it’s quite an imaginative work.
Jordanna, from Market Drayton, Shropshire explained the moment she received her questionable gift.

The mum-of-four explained: "She had the card behind her back, and was quite giggly.
“Then she handed it to me and I was like, 'oh my life', and laughed.
"It was really unexpected. I just did a nervous laugh, like, 'have you actually done this?' I was quite shocked.
"But I didn't mind, because it is quite funny."

Jordanna continued: "She's very outgoing and funny. She's quite a comedian.
"She was quite proud of it. She said that the teachers said it was great, and that they'd helped her to cut the bottle out to stick on the front.
"It was just getting worse - not only had she made the card, but she'd involved teachers to really bring attention to the fact that she's done this.
"We had a parent's evening on Wednesday, and the teachers thought she was great. They said she'd thought outside the box, and that it was really funny."

Interestingly, Jordanna doesn’t even drink vodka, but thinks that perhaps her daughter mistook her favourite drink, which is plum gin.
That would explain the purple bottle, anyway.
Now, she hopes that her husband might get some of the same treatment as her after he laughed it up at her expense.

However, the card has pride of place in their home, and will eventually go into a 'memory box' to be laughed at through the years.
Jordanna said: "My husband thought it was highly amusing.
"But I did remind him that it's not long until Father's Day, and that quickly took the smile off his face. It'll be his turn next.
"I'm hoping that she pulls out something for her dad on Father's Day, to make it a bit less on me.
"[The card has] still got pride of place, and it'll definitely be staying. I'll put it in a memory box."
Since she shared the post on Facebook, other parents and people who have seen it have also been chuckling away.
One said: "Fancy a ten-year-old outing you like that at school."
Another said: "To be fair, your face wasn't on the card… blame it on nanny, granny and everyone in between."
