After Norfolk Police last night issued a statement revealing that 37-year-old teacher Anthony Hill has disappeared, his former colleague Martin Lewis has issued a plea calling for witnesses to come forward with information.
Taking to X, the TV presenter and financial expert shared the police's news, penning in the caption: "This is devastating. Please share.

"Anthony is a lovely man who used to work on the MoneySavingExpert deals team before leaving to pursue his valiant passion to get into teaching. I hope and pray he's OK. Please, please spread word."
The police statement released last night explained that the man was last seen at 7.45am on Monday (17 June), when he left his home address on Plumstead Road East.
"Anthony is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall, of a slim build and with short brown hair," it read.
"He was last seen wearing brown chino trousers, a black checked shirt, a green coat and a yellow rucksack.

"Police are concerned for Anthony’s welfare and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him or knows of his current whereabouts.
"Anyone with any information about Anthony’s whereabouts should contact police on 101, quoting incident number NC-17062024-507."
