Two teenagers were yesterday found guilty of the heinous murder of 16-year-old Brianna Ghey back in February this year.
Known only as 'Girl X' and 'Boy Y' until the court decide today (21 December) whether to waver their anonymity, the two 15-year-olds lured Brianna, 16, to a heavily forested park in the village of Culcheth, Warrington on 11 February.
Brianna - who was transgender - had travelled from the adjoining town of Birchwood via bus to meet 'Girl X', who she believed was her friend.

Little did she know, that the murderous duo - who both had an interest in serial killers and were fixated on torture and violence - had planned to take her life for some time, even writing a list of four other individuals they hoped to kill afterwards.
The pair subsequently stabbed Brianna 28 times in Culcheth Linear Park - a popular dog-walking spot in the rural village - using a hunting knife before fleeing the area.
'Girl X' and 'Boy Y' - who currently can't be named for legal reasons - both denied murdering the innocent teen, and even blamed each other for the crime.

They were both found guilty of murder on Wednesday 20 December, however.
Following her death, the heartbreaking final text that Brianna ever sent, as well as her final moments tracked with CCTV footage were made public.
On 29 November, the Liverpool Echo reported that the jury were shown footage from Brianna's Ring doorbell whilst attending the trial in Manchester Crown Court.
In the video, she is seen to be leaving her home for the final time at 12.45pm on the day of her sickening murder.

The schoolgirl was shown to be typing on her phone as she left the house, wearing a white hoodie, knee high socks, black shirt and over-the-shoulder bag.
Brianna then catches the number 28 bus from Birchwood to Culcheth, seen on the vehicle's CCTV footage with her phone once again in hand.
"From the moment I saw her, I felt there was something odd about her," a statement from bus driver Kieran Mercer was read out in court.

"I felt as if she was going out of her way not to be seen. She was very timid and quietly spoken. She gave the impression she was just someone who wanted to be left alone."
It was during this ten minute journey that Brianna sent her final last text to her mother Esther Ghey, telling her that she was 'scared' to be travelling, being that she had social anxiety.
"I'm on bus by myself. I'm scared," she texted Ms Ghey at 1.41pm, to which the mother wrote back, "That's well good".
She later told the court of her message: "I was really proud of her. I don’t think she ever saw it."

Brianna was 'last logged on to WhatsApp' at around 1.47pm on the day of her murder, before 'Girl X' and 'Boy Y' met her at a bus-stop beside Culcheth Library.
Another Ring doorbell camera recorded footage of the three teens entering an alleyway that leads directly to the park at 2.02pm.
A note found in 'Girl X's' bedroom following her arrest that was read out in court detailed the duo's villainous plan.
"Meet Boy Y at wooden posts 1pm," it read. "Walk down to library ... bus stop.
"Wait until Brianna gets off bus then the 3 of us walk to linear park. Go to the pipe/tunnel area. I say code word to boy Y.
"He stabs her in the back as I stab her in the stomach. Boy Y drags the body into the area. We both cover up the area with logs etc."
Brianna was found by a dog-walker that called 999 after finding her severely injured at 3.13pm, before she was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.02pm.
Our thoughts are with Brianna Ghey's family at this time.
